OT: The Tourney

I was just signing up for my brackets on ESPN and figured before I joined a group I would check and see if anyone around here would be interested in getting in. If so, I'd start a group for the Planet.

For those familiar with ESPN fantasy games, you know how it works. For those who don't... All you need to do is sign up for a free account.

Also this year, they've changed it from the 3 brackets last year, to 5 brackets. Yep, 5 chances to get as right as possible.


So anyone who's interested let me know and if we get at least 5 or 6 people who want to get in I'll start up a group.

Okay, for anyone who's interested...

For those who aren't familiar with this.. Once you create your account or sign in, click on the Tourney Challenge. You'll then be able to set up, up to 5 brackets (the actual picking of the teams I'm pretty sure is Mar 13). Once your teams are created, click "create or join group".

The group name is Three Ring Circus, and the password is: planet.

Okay, so it's not actually tourney related, but I wasn't going to start a new thread just for conference play....


In a couple hours I won't be able to get anything done at work... On top my slacking off by posting here :p .... both BC & Michigan play at 11. What's up with that??? How the hell am I supposed to fully follow both games?????????


And some good news.... ND was knocked out by Rutgers yesterday.

Also, DePaul (the school I'm accepted into but can't attend until I get my friggin finances in order :( ) knocked off Tulane in C-USA play.

I hear ya Mgo.. If it wasn't for me getting sick and calling into work today, I would of missed the B.C. game. Who the hell schedules the tournaments #1 seed at 12 noon on a THURSDAY?? Thats just stupid. (And yes, honestly, I really AM sick. That sucks, but at least I get to watch my Eagles beat up on West Virginia again!)

Man.. The mountain men are killin the Eagles in the 1st half. The Eagles just laying down or what??? If they go into the Tourney playing this way they're not going to last long.

They are certainly giving the committee something to think about when they do the seedings. I have followed BC hoops for a couple of years -- I would not call myself a diehard but I do follow them. And I have to say that my feeling on this team is that they are not as good as their impressive record might lead some to believe. They have struggled mightily with good teams here down the stretch.

Okay, so we would have had to face the friggin Illini in the next round but still..... Did we really have to go out in the first friggin round?????? And we were competetive against the Illini when they were up in Ann Arbor. Up until the last minute Mich was right there. So there is a chance that Mich could have upset the Illini, albeit a very slim chance. Then to only lose by 2 friggin points to the friggin Cats.

We lose Horton because he feels a need to choke his girlfriend... If I ever see him I'm gonna choke his sorry ass!!!! We NEEEDED him this year!!!!!!
