Prisco article on sportsline

I found this pretty funny, but now I'm worried, One bad apple can spoil the whole bandwagon basket....

Yes, I am now a true believer, a bandwagon jumper who somehow wedged his way back onto the wagon. Never will there be any doubting this team again. That is, unless they lose to the Eagles.

Don't worry. It won't happen. This team is on a collision course with greatness, and about to argue its place as one of the greatest team runs of the post-merger era.

How in the heck did some fool ever doubt this team in the first place?

sounds like some serious crow is being eaten by Prisco

Rod Woodson picked the Eagles to win the Super Bowl Sunday afternoon. That's all well and good, as long as you have legitimate reasons to back up your picks.

His reasoning was that the Eagles were "hungrier" than the Patriots. Not that the Patriots aren't hungry, cuz he's sure that they probably are. But the Eagles are hungrier.

So there you have it folks, the Eagles will emerge victorious, not because they have the edge in any particular aspect of the matchup...........but because they are "hungrier".

I LOVE the NFL Network, but can't they get some analysts that...........oh......I dunno...........analyze???!!!

That's because his beloved Steelers lost on Sunday night. If the Steelers had won, he'd be on his hands and knees praising them all week long.

Maybe they are hungrier, Mrs. McNabb won't let them eat junk food! It's Campbell Soup or nothing.

This morning on the NFL Network, I saw Terrell Davis saying that he gave the Eagles the Edge at QB and Running Back, but he said the Patriots have the better receivers. 333 is pretty good in baseball.

Or until they play Prisco's beloved Manning again. I mean, how could Pete ever pick Manning to lose to the Pats??? Manning is a football God, who's bust should already be in Canton.

I thought he screwed up his knee. ACL maybe.

However, I do remember in Super Bowl XXXII that he was battling migrane headaches, but he still played and played well.

You had to see it. Terrell Davis obviously didn't want to be picking McNabb over Brady. Hell, Rich Eisen immediately gave him sh!t for it. I really felt he was doing it becouse the network wanted him to play it down the middle. He's Picked the patriots right along through the season and for the most part he has been spot on. So has Lincoln Kennedy, But Woodson, Oh, God, he was practiclly crying on the show after the Steelers Butt-thumping.

Dan Pires is on a distinguished roadDan Pires is on a distinguished road
When I saw Prisco, who lives in Jacksonville, at Heinz Field at halftime on Sunday he broke out into a laugh and shook his head.

His first words were: "Hey, I'm sipping the Kool-Aid...say no more."

[Hey, I sound like Peter King]

Lay off the man. He's officially in the choir now [He's very impressed with the volumes of e-mail he gets from Pats' fans, too]

So Prisco has had the kool-aid.

But Dan, has Buddy Thomas dipped into it yet?

I need to add a disclaimer like they have on the The Whiner Line whenever someone asks me about Buddy. I have a lot of respect for the man. But when it comes to the Patriots and Brady he's a card-carrying hater. It's in his blood, and not even a full transfusion by Dracula himself can get it out of him.

You think that's dumb, just wait until we see Ron Jaworski's pick and reasoning. You know he's picking Philly since he was seen cheerleading on the Eagle sideline Sunday, so his rationale should be a doozy. My guess is he picks Philly because the Eagles wear green or something.

The NFL network is a joke. Each "commentator" shills for his former team.
