Do you remember Ricky Bryant? Patriots practice squad. Super Bowl Ring Pawn Stars

His Patriots Super Bowl Ring was just bought by Pawn Stars they now have 2 Patriots Super Bowl rings.

I was watching Pawn Stars like I always do, and this happened Monday night.

http://guyism.com/sports/2004-patrio...s-for-21k.html

In 2004, the New England Patriots capped off a magical run, winning their third Super Bowl in four years by defeating the Eagles 24-21. Owner Robert Kraft went all out in celebrating the victory by awarding members of the team with the most expensive Super Bowl ring to dateĖa 14k white gold ring with 124 diamonds. A priceless piece of jewelry.

But in this rough economy, itís hard, even for some professional players to keep their head above water. One of those players, practice squad wide receiver Ricky Bryant, found himself in a bind with a broker and was forced to sell it. The ring made its way to the Gold and Silver pawn shop in Las Vegas, home of History Channelís Pawn Stars, where it was featured on Monday nightís show.

If video doesn't embed you can watch it at the link above

A mere $21k seems like a steal for something of that magnitude, but again, who knows what kind of financial position Ricky Bryant is in these days. After being sent to NFL Europe to play Hamburg Sea Devils in 2005, not much can be found about the former Hofstra standout.

And Rickey didn't get anywhere near 21000. 10K at the outside I'm guessin and that's if he's lucky.

The bad part is that his "hardtimes" end up being broadcast for all the world to see.

That really is very sad.

Cheers, BostonTim

Mayday Malone is an unknown quantity at this point
Can't wait to go in to Gold and Silver and buy those two badboys up. I'll post his jack up price when I do. I expect to spend at least a quarter mill, going by his standards. Does he have a cab service to the Bunny Club at least?

Well if Rex was the coach maybe he would've been able to buy a few.

He's selling his 2001 Patriots ring for 100k, so I can only imagine what the 2004 ring is going for.
