Brady the FRAUD is now 5-5 in the playoffs without an elite defense to carry him
I took a lot of heat on here from some of the nitwits like Hawg and SOKB. Well, shows how little you guys know about football. Brady deserves some kind of award for completely fooling everyone into not only believing that he's an elite quarterback, but one of the BEST EVER! Haha, it's amazing.
But as smart as I am, even I was duped. I saw him being fired up on the sidelines during games, and being remarkably efficient, setting all sorts of records, so I gave him a pass for his recent awful playoff performances. I believed that this year he would get back on track, having gone through a very tough regular season schedule, but as usual, he chokes when it counts. And he does his little pouting and being disinterested look on the sidelines, like normal. Just retire already and go to Paris with your wife. So now we can add this stinker to the two 3 INT games against the Chargers, the game sealing pick against the Colts, the Ravens 4 turnover disaster, the Broncos clunker, and of course the biggest chokejob in NFL history, Super Bowl 42. Brady jock riders will be quick to point the blame at everyone else. "Look, Alge dropped a pass in the endzone! Bill O'Brien had an awful gameplan! Welker caused a distraction during the week! The defense stinks!" Well, guess what, they did have a little to do with it, but are they always being praised as being one of the best ever and getting paid the most money in the NFL (despite his wife being filthy rich as it is, what a greedy man he is)? If he gets all the credit, he should get some of the blame. In this case, most of it. He's done his best Peyton Manning impression since the defense got old after 2004 and couldn't carry his sorry ass. Isn't it odd that Manning only won his ring when the Colts D and running game suddenly played lights out in the playoffs? The quarterback position in general is so overrated it's not even funny. Hoyer's ready. Belichick knows it. It's Brady-Bledsoe all over again. Use the same judgment, Bill. Play the best guy. Ship out the other one. See you all next season. |

5-5 without an elite defense vs. The best teams in the league (by definition) - sounds pretty good, no?
If I spot you that the team's defense is weak, that the opposition is the best it can be, and still go .500, that's...bad? Posted via Mobile Device |

Brady has sucked in a lot of his recent playoff games no doubt...but no QB wins a SB without a good-great-opportunistic defense.

I didn't think Brady looked right from the get go (body language thing), and was wondering if the Welker thing had effected him. He had playing unbelievable ball since the Cleveland fiasco, a part of me was wondering how they were doing it, with (what looked to me were) some mediocre (other than Welker) compliments. I guess there were a lot of things that I thought could go wrong in this game, but I wasn't expecting Brady to be one of them. I really do think that overall, this season was one of Belichicks best coaching efforts, as I didn't think this team was as talented as the other 14 win teams. |

Agreed DKM.
I think I mentioned that in another thread about the only thing "good" about yesterday is that it PROVES that despite the Comp Committee et al trying to make everything offense centric, in looking at who is left in the playoffs D still wins. |
