Smack thread: get your hot smack here

We don't have a seperate smack forum here and most visitors seem reluctant to start any. I'm not sure why, but when they do we usually have a good time with it and can both give and take so I am providing this thread as a smack despository and will sticky it if anybody shows interest in it.

All right - I'll start. I think Dan Henning was the worst OC we ever had in New England and single handedly ran the Boston College program into the ground.

No imagination. Easy to understand for opponents. Can't adjust to game conditions.

But maybe you Panthers people are too busy deciding whether Mayberry RFD jumped the shark when cousin Goober showed up or not to have considered that.

Actually I will have to concur with your estimation of Dan Henning. He lacks vision, adjustablility and the ability to effectively use his weapons. He holds our players back. Our players could accomplish so much more if he would just allow for better play calling.

All in all. I have felt that man needs to be fired all season long. He irks me to no end.

I love Dan Henning. At training camp he was wearing a straw hat so I bought one just like it, I wear it to every game and call it my Henning hat. I get a hard time from some of my friends but I am willing to take it in order to support one of the best OC's in the business. His playoff game calls have been even better than the regular season.



BTW, did Charlie have a box of twinkies when he left NE?

I have to admit I slightly laughed the 1st time but it got old in a hurry. I hate that it continued on, make fun of the Red Sox (except Trot) but leave that other stuff alone. Sorry for that stuff.

I agree with you there, make fun of those overpaid crybabies (baseball players) all you want, make fun of Ted Kennedy all you want ( Most people up here can't stand him anyways).

Its all in good fun, but when you get into that other stuff it gets pretty pathetic.

I see nothing funny in talking about innocent kids getting abused by those sickos.. That goes for Pats fans as well bringing up Carruth and that crap.

Just an FYI to the good peeps of thie board. It was Sledgeb1 who originated that line of ill advised line of smack talk.

Now as for those who participated in it after it began I would not know as I scrolled through and ignored such smack talk.
