Dean Pees as DC has to go

I am sorry that my first thread on this site has to be a negative one but Dean Pees is a horrible DC. When you have a rookie QB you pressure the heck out of him. When they did bring pressure the play usually was a negative one for the Jets. When they let him sit back there by only rushing 4 he chewed them up. Pees is a liability regardless of who else helps him develop the game plan because he can't make in game adjustments.

Whoever is calling the plays on offense needs a clue also. They looked totally unprepared for the blitz.

As bad as Pees has been he's been stellar compared to his cohort on the other side of the ball.

But, shhhhhh, don't dare criticize anything about the Pats coaches in here ..... they are untouchable when it comes to criticism.

Players still need to make the plays. The offense stunk it up today as they did in the buffalo game. I do unlike some think Brady and the offense need to get it together. Brady looks scared kinda like Payton last year. I think most were expecting Brady to come back exactly where he left off The running game was working why give up on it? Our offensive play calling leaves a lot to be desired right now. Defensive is playing respectable. We should have been up by 14 at the half you can't blame the defense

Again, there is no cohort on the other side of the ball.

The defense allowed essentially one play that beat us today. They gave up 16 points, after seemingly starting every drive with crappy field position.

The problem on this team is offensive.

Don't get me wrong the O play calling was bad too but that we have to expect is in transition given that they lost their OC. Pees has been DC for what, 3 years now. There should be no transition he should know what to call when to call it and how to get pressure on a rookie QB. And when you do get pressure on a rookie QB and it works because anytime you do its a negative play, you keep doing it.

Yes there are offensive problems, that happens when there is a new OC and a QB who is coming back from missing an entire year, you can't expect miracles in 2 games. But that is where under Romeo Crennel the D would pick up the slack. Pees is not capable of picking up the slack as a DC.

And coaches need to put players in position to make plays and that isn't happening, on either side of the ball for the Pats. The Pats defense is horrid on 3rd and long and they can't pressure the QB if their lives depended on it. Thye failed to adjust to the Jets after 1/2 time. Whether this is due to poor strategy or poor player execution is immaterial, it all boils down to suspect coaching.

Whatever the job description is doesn't matter. Rest assured, someones is calling plays for the Pats offense. Whoever that is, or whatever his job title, he sucks.

The guys have to catch the ball.
The guys can't keep falling down.
The guy has to throw the ball where the guys can catch it.
The guys have to block.

True, but the guys also have to be put in a position to succeed. Our calls flat out aren't doing that.
