Has the "Lionheart McNair" saga started again???

Perhaps this may be a reach or maybe bad assumption, but seeing Marvin HArrison is banged up and is questionable in the first practice of the week, does that open the door for the NAtional media for "McNair the Warrior" talk.

After hearing how McNair has the heart of a lion for two weeks as he battles a strained calve, I am beginning to wonder if we are going to hear the same pep rally nonsense that was spewed last week.

Both players (McNAir and Harrison) are arguable the best players at their position throughout the league, so why is there a need to make a story out of the "NBA injuries" that these players are overcoming.

IF players are great because of their ability to play well with injuries, wouldn't that open the door to celebrate previous mediocre athletes?

It certainly one MCNair a share of the MVP title. Should we expect the same treatment for someone like Ty Law???

In order to avoid a media frenzy the likes of which the world hasn't seen since Princess Diana died, we all better pray that nothing bad happens to Archie Manning, otherwise known as the "Sire of the Golden Child."

Make that "Sire of the Golden Children. Can you imagine the media coverage when Peyton and Eli play against each other the 1st time. Nuclear holocaust won't get as much ink.

BTW, who named those kids
