Recent early-season Patriots adversity...will that streak end?
One year, Kevin Faulk was suspended for the first 4 games for drug abuse (use-whichever). Another time (last year, along with Faulk's problem), Nick Kasczur has his oxyconton problem, or whatever it was. We had Brady being incapacited in the first game last year (he didn't even take a snap in pre-season games). And another year, (2007?), Rodney Harrison was suspended four games for taken a banned drug.
Those things couldn't have helped the cause, 16-0 and all other positives be damned (whatever that heck that means!) Just a little trip down memory lane.... |

Dont' forget cutting Milloy right before the first game, having him sign with Buffalo, and then getting trounced by the Bills in the opening game IIRC.
