Pretty scandalous story brewing, here.

First, Harman's blatant misuse of her position, even as she was aware that what she was doing was wrong. "This conversation doesn't exist."

Second, this underscores the power of the Israel lobby in our politics, if they felt they could get Pelosi to name Harman chairman of the House Intelligence Committee (she didn't get the position).

And third, Alberto Gonzales killed the whole investigation into Harman, simply because she was a key supporter of warrantless wiretapping.

Pelosi's fingerprints are all over this.

The only reason this has released was because Harman was trying to help Israel. If she had been talking to Iran, Syria, or the Saudis, we wouldn't know a thing about it.

and fourth, this comes out when she was going to become some sort of state dept honcho on nuclear proliferation - the one area where she is known to be in line with the liberals (aka sane people).
