Holy Cow ! 667 yards!

I was looking over the layout of the golf coarse for the US Open golf tourney.

The 12th hole is 667 yards. Can you imagine that! Cripes the way I played last Sunday, I could tee off on Tuesday and not finish it until Thursday.

There is another hole that is 607 but Tiger can reach the green in 2. Even he would have a hard time reaching the green in 2 on the 667, probably 3 shots to the green for him.

I want to bring a truely international sport that everyone enjoys to the board. All this soccer and rugby stuff is really bad.

Golf sucks the big one!!

It's not even a real sport.

So you smack a ball around with metal sticks....woo hoo! I play croquet with my niece and nephew. That is MORE of a sport because it has defense...you can smack your opponents ball a mile when you get the chance......golf doesn't even have a defense.

Golf is a game, not a sport, and a sucky game at that!

I love going out for a round of golf with mates and making it compeititive and winding each other up on a nice hot sunny day. But I also agree Croquet is a cool cool game !!

To me it's a recreational activity rataher than a sport. However if you think it's easy, try hitting a golf ball where you want it to go.

I've played competitive tennis and racquetball, and the most difficult thing I've ever had to learn was hitting a golf ball.

Thst is why I have such appreciation for a guy like Tiger or any pro. At their level it is certainly a sport.

Did you see that hole today? Not only is it the longest but it has a very norrow fairway and numerous bunkers and traps.

I bet there's a soccer field that you would like to comment on.

Golfs an incredibly hard game, I have all the respect for Tiger and the Pros Its amazing how they never seem to play a real shit shot at all. I know they have done it for years and its there job but hell If I can go 3 holes with out playing at least 1 or 2 poor shots I would be happy. I just love going for a casual hit with mates.

just today was the 1st chance I had to study the length of this course MPN -- HOLY SHITE!!!

Front 9: 482yd / 479yd / 477yd Par4s + 609 Par5 AND A MOFO 288 Par3

Back 9: 500yd / 484yd Par4s + THE 667 Par Fahkin' 5

Tiger is set up perfect for the win tomorrow......

1.) everybody at + Par

2.) pressure on relatively untested players in a MAJOR Major close to him by score

3.) he should be fresh as a daisy and wired to tear up the course with the wifey close to poppin' one out in the next couple weeks not rollin' him over to relieve any built up stress tonight
