I always like to look back at draft picks that didn't work and see who the Pats ended up with in that year. Sure I would like to tell myself if we had the #4 pick we'd have taken Dwight Freeney, but I DO know that we took

Dan Graham
Deion Branch
Rohan Davey
Jarvis Green
Antoine Womack
David Givens 8th last pick in the draft

and found a way to make almost all of them work out for us. Damn good draft.

The best part about them cutting Williams is that the guy that was responsible for evaluating talent for the Bills during that draft is still kicking around Buffalo.

They replaced the GM and HC but left that dude in place.



He is reputed to be a lazy evaluator of talent. Based on Williams, that might be true.
