Five assists, actually.

Why knock Kobe for ball-hogging? That starting five is Kobe, Mihm, George, Odom, and Smush Parker. Who else deserves to be taking those shots? Without Kobe, that's a 20-62 team at best.

I agree but Iwas surprised to learn they won the game. I would have thought being a ball whore would lead to defeat but it didn't

Just curious....

Did you folks think just as poorly of Jordan when he put up 69 pts against the Cavs in 90?

And gee, I mean... Kobe has the all-star team of Mihm, Parker and Brown and guys like George and Walton out there with him ( Odom, although he didn't do much last night, really is starting to come around ) . I mean, all Jordan had on that 89-90 team were guys by the name of Pippen, and King, and Grant, and Paxson, Cartwright, Perdue, Armstong....

If you bitched about Jordan doing it , then fine.... Bitch at Kobe.

But, if you, like all those other Jordan lovers, praised him for scoring 69, then by ripping Kobe you're being a bit hypocritical there.

And I won't even get into the whole "rapist" comment.

I never liked Jordan, he was not as good as my Larry Bird or Magic Johnson.

honestly, i think anytime someone runs off a line like his he is hurting the team, if you notice my comment prior was that the Lakers won.

Jordan got 63 (I think 63) in a playoff game against the Celtics, who won that game? I liked the 80's Celtics and they were a team, I was at the Garden for the Bird/Wilkins explosion sitting across from the Hawks bench. The scoring was part of the offense and I did not seen Kobe's game last night so I can't comment - I will guess it wasn't based on 2 assist

the rape/nonrape is not a factor in my dislike for him, but his appearance before and after and how he carries himself in public has changed during that time.

Mine would have too.

The NBA was fun to watch in the 70's with JoJo White, Dave Cowens, Havelcheck, etc, playing good team ball. That continued into the 80's with Bird vs. Magic and the great Laker/Celtics teams. But even then the NBA was in decline and today it is a pathetic game to watch. NBA = Nauseating Boring Assclowns. The stars in the NBA are not respectable, from Alan (why practice) Iverson to Kobe ( I can cheat on my wife) Bryant and everyone in between. Just a whole lot of overpaid jerks. I have barely even paid attention to the finals the last few years. College basketball is much more enjoyable. In fact, I'd rather have a root canal than watch an NBA game.

So Kobe gets 81 points. Does anybody really care?
