Seymour Loved The Crowd Today...
Even Cadillac was impressed.
Richard Seymour: “I love to give credit where credit is due. The crowd was exceptional…exceptional...I take my hat off to the fans. They came out today and they were the 12th man. They added that intensity and you could tell by looking at the offensive linemen - it was hard for those guys to communicate. It raised our level of play as well." Cadillac Williams: "The crowd noise added to some miscommunication in the game." |

My wife kept asking me why I kept turning the volume up on the TV. "I looove hearing the crowd!" |

That's great to hear, especially now late in the season because we need to have the 12th man contributing as much as possible in games in January.

People were talkng about it in the lot before the game. We were primed to make noise. I'm proud to say my son and I were there yelling it up.
The team and the fans are starting to peak at the right time. |

You could in the stadium. The 1st situation that came up where the crowd should have been loud, they put the stadium camera on Seymour the whole time and the crowd went nuts!!!!!! |

Keep it up, great job. You could see Seymour clap for the crowd too. He appeared to be very happy. Nice. |

I was truly impressed with how the crowd responded. They were all over the Bucs on when they had third-and-six with 6:51 left in the first quarter, and it just went from there without prompting from the players on the field. I'm totally serious about Seymour, too. He was smiling like a poor man who found a $100 bill. He made me laugh, too, when he pointed to the cover of the Game Day magazine with his picture on the cover (the first time this year). Coincidence? I think not. |

For those who were at the game today, good job! It was loud. It was very apparent to me, while watching on TV that the crowd was INTO it. The Bucs offense looked confused, and their play demonstrated that fact. It was beautiful. No excuses, keep bringing the heat everyone. The Patriots are a force to be reckoned with. I am very proud of what they did today.
Keep up the good work. Here's to making a serious run in the playoffs!!!!!! ![]() Go :Patriots: |

Speaking of good fans...
My boss(es) scheduled me to be out early today so that I could get home and watch the game.
Thought I was running late, but managed to catch the opening kick-off. But so did my boss(es)...at The Razor. Those Bahstids. ![]() |

Do I hear 4 in a row?
Were the fans so into it that they continued to cheer when the Pats O was driving? (I couldn't tell on the TV.)
I noticed more false starts on the Pats (2) than the Bucs (1). Also, I saw Brady waving his arms in the red zone a couple of times as if to signal to the fans to quiet down. If so, maybe a class in Stadium Etiquette 101 is needed for all the new yahoos who go to the games. |

Yeah, it Was loud at the stadium yesterday. And a big Thank You to Richard Seymour for prodding the fans. It worked like a charm. Along with the media picking up on Seymour's comments, and talking about it for an appropriate amount of time.
I was at the game, and I taped it, too. I wanted to hear how it sounded on tv, and it was excellent. You could hear the noise all game long. But, at the beginning, it was really great, because you could tell the crowd was totally into it. It was a little noisier than it should be when the Pats had the ball. But I'll take that, in combination with the massive upgrade in noise when the opponent had the ball. And make no mistake, the Bucs were a very quality opponent. The fan noise was pivital. The whole Patriots team (coaches, players, fans) worked together tremendously. I don't necessarily expect the same level of noise during the final reg. season game (unless the 3 seed is up for grabs). But it would be nice to "keep it going" in that game, just like the players need to "keep it going". But during the home playoff game(s), I think it is going to be Loud As Hell, once again! p.s....a little off topic....I am looking foward to the Monday nighter in NY (eh, NJ), verses the Jets. They are going to get Creamed (the drunkin' namoths, that is). Bring on Vinny, bring on Vilma, bring on The Law. I don't care if Flutie, Cassell, Brady, Pass, Dillon, Hawkins, Sanders whoever, plays. I just want to see those Patriots fans basking in the victory and fun and limelight for all to see, at about midnight Monday night! Last edited by Steve1; 12-18-2005 at 07:46 AM.. |

I believe that the fans owner (that what I call Bob Kraft, and owner who is a true fan) Bob Kraft was sitting outside, in the red section, with his son and wife....and mingling as he likes to do. I believe he had read all the stories about the "silence" at the game, and the emptiness of the red seats...and decided toset an example.
He is the BEST owner, not just in the NFL, but in all of professional sports. I have met him several times, and he is just like us...a true fan. He, and his wife, spent several hours with us at our headquarters in Phoenix. I have met him in Denver and other locations.... I am happy, and proud, that he is the owner of the team that we all hold so dear. In Denver a few years ago. That's me, standing with Mister Kraft. ![]() |
