OT: Worst place you have ever been to

I'm talking about a place that was so miserable, you wouldn't go back there if your life depended on it (well, maybe not that bad, but you get the point).

Mine:

1.) Ponca City, Oklahoma - People actually live there?
2.) Odessa, TX - Saddest and most destitute place I've ever been to in my life.
3.) Columbia, SC - The White Trash capital of America.

Jail- Worst 5 hours of my life- 18 yrs old and me and my buddy were drinking a beer (1st one of the night I might add) in a parking lot of a 18 and older night club. A place I vouche to never, ever go back too

Central Falls RI ....... at least back in the mid 80's 2 dealers per block and 5 crack whores per dealer.
( friend of mine broke down and I was the only one willing to go help him)

New Jersey ....... mostly between Rt 80 and Rt 95 ...... the only good thing about NJ is the price of gas in some area's is still under$2.00 (northern NJ bordering PA/NY) also known as the Tri-corners)

Adana, Turkey - Ever want to live in the Stone Age? The people there still wear 7-day shltbags for pants. Smells awful.

Anywhere in India - would someone please flush that toilet? The whole country is so filthy & stink saturated that it surpasses 'disgusting' by a few billion light years.

Most of Mexico - see above, though not quite as bad.

LaGuira, Venezuela.

It is literally a gas station for cruise ships and they have armed guards at the entrance to the dock. We walked passed the guards to take a look around and saw nothing but whores, drunks and people staring at us like we were insane.

People throw thier trash out their windows and periodically it catches fire and burns their shacks down. Rinse, cycle, repeat.

Walking back to the ship was the first time I realized how lucky I was to be an American.

Always with the subjective questions... the worst place? worst in what sense?

1. My parents and my 3 sisters and I tried to camp overnight in Needles, California, which is very often the hottest location the United States.

2. Of places I have deliberately gone on vacation, I thought Madrid was awful. I was going to say "Spain" but I did like Barcelona.

3. Of major american cities I have visited, Atlanta comes to mind.

I suppose I would have to have been alive to answer that question. However, the hired help was huffing paint in there every 5 minutes, which apparently caused uncontrollable bouts of explosive diarrhea.
