I think it is effective. Same as Obama's was effective for him. I got out of the public relations arena a long time ago. Very tough profession to stomach because of how our media has morphed into piranhas.

Just to be clear, I wasn't asking you to judge it for its effectiveness.

Joseph Goebbels was very effective.

With his Press Secretary's very first appearance (specially scheduled) to attempt to head off the tears of impotent frustration?

This little munchkin spent the last year and a half acting the toughguy, but cannot quit whining about how unfair it all is. After winning. The first full ****ing day on the job. About the size of his crowd. God what a bitch.

I said on here that I'd give him a chance. He immediately and irredeemably blew that by acting like a pouting toddler deprived of a ribbon- putting his own sensitive little feelings ahead of the business of the nation.

If he ever mans up and quits that, it may not be necessary to keep pointing it out. In the meantime, this manchild deserves every last ounce of 'can dish it out but can't even come close to taking it' ridicule he gets.

So, yes. Buckle up, buttercups. This Orwellian shit will not flush.
Just a gentle poke. I have no problem with it but it seems a little silly to me. I certainly don't approve of many many things that have come out of trumps mouth and I doubt very much success implementing his very unnuanced solutions to many things that I DO believe need fixing. That's why I knew from day one that I wasn't voting for him. But I wish him (and our country) a successful run. And I don't think I would ever tell some one to stop saying something. That's what the "I'm good" means on the large scale.

Cheers, (if I may)

But that is the judging stick. Is it effective. It is.

But if you are asking about morality or ethics, I would assume you are bright enough to know that neither has existed in politics or the media for a long time. It is just up to us to try to sift through the sewage in search of the truth.

It shows that you worked in PR, because you ended up not answering my question in ways that would make Ms. Conway proud

And of course we have to look at it not just through the lens of effectiveness. Shutting down the free press and having just a propaganda network is surely the most effective means a politician can control a response, but we can all agree that it would fail the morality/ethics test.

And to @Mazz, one other thought on the subject. I believe in the right to own a gun and have recently applied to have my lapsed LTC reinstated. I believe in the Constitution and all of the rights that it carries. I also believe that for all of the screaming that the right does about the right to protect themselves, why is that any different than women who feel their rights are being threatened, their personal and private rights to make choices for themselves?

You can't have it both ways.

This march was about so much more than just pro-choice, though, which is why I am so affronted to think that women aren't recognizing how powerful a statement this was. This was about women not wanting to turn the clocks back, about women standing up for future women, about women being strong, demanding more for themselves than a president who looks at them as objects, demeans them for being less than his vision of attractive, about defunding Planned Parenthood, a facility that nationwide helps women on a daily basis with their healthcare needs. Reproductive rights are our rights, and that is primary for me, a woman.

And I'm proud of every single woman nationwide showing their strength in numbers and showing this country that not only do we have a voice, but we won't stand for anything that restricts us.
Many aspects of the issues that the March was intended to touch on are not my beliefs. I didn't agree with half of it maybe. I think it was a well organized and well executed demonstration, worthy of admiration. My daughter went. Out of strong commitment to strong beliefs. I couldn't be prouder.

Cheers,

Cheers,
I thought, to be honest, that the Women's March showed, clearly, that America is already great. It was very moving.

Cheers,
And there you have it.

Just because someone disagrees doesn't make them stupid or a snowflake or any other pejorative used for no other reason than to deny a dissenter even the right to an opinion.

You can actually disagree with someone and still admire them.

Thank you Tim, you give me hope for the future.

C'mon, Lisa - we've had this discussion enough times for you to know the issue isn't privacy, it is the belief that an unborn child has a right to life as well.
