The reverberations of this trade will be felt for years to come. The NFL has truly been rocked and shaken to it’s very core.

- they are the only team Brady has a sub-.500 record against

- unlike the Pats, their cheating was legitimate
It's amazing what the Pats in the postseason does to fan bases. My two brothers in law are both huge Redskins fans. Rooted hard for the Giants in '07 and '11.

The Super Bowl party at my house has become an annual "Root Against the Patriots" Fest.

The losses were tough but believe me, I gave boatloads of shiite to anyone still at my house when they won. XLIX and LI were both amazing.

It happens when teams are that successful. Everyone is cheering for the Browns because they are so bad. If they made playoffs a lot of people would be happy. If the Browns all the sudden won 6 Super Bowls, people would start rooting against them as well.

Kind of how I canít stand seeing LeBron James in another final. I might actually get my wish this year. He might not even make playoffs lol!

I don't know about all that, but John Elway's fading career certainly will be.

What I find amongst the Redskins fan base more so than most others is a level of respect. Sure, they're not going to root for the Pats, but they in general don't possess the irrational, maniacal hatred that most fan bases do. Where I live fan bases in order of size are-

- Redskins

- Ratbirds

- Cowboys

- Steelers

- Pats

so I see the difference every day.

To me LeBron hate has to do with the person, not the winning. I mean "That play made me the greatest" should never be said by anyone about themselves. Add in the decision and how he had to form a team in Miami.

Lebron was a pampered next great thing entering the league, name one Patriot who fit that label? Bledsoe? he was bench warmer. Even Randy Moss, who was traded for, dropped in the draft. No Patriot player has been the next sure thing.

Valid point. I also can't stand the Lebron to MJ talk as well. Lebron fans seriously sicken me. They think the man walks on water..... Which is fair if he won 5 or 6 titles. But when you have more losses in the finals than wins, you really shouldn't talk. Not to mention he was swept last season, and lost in 5 the season before..... And now his Lakers are on the verge of not even making the playoffs lol!

LeBron fans epitomize all that is wrong with the NBA as it currently stands. It's driven by player recognition and not teams. It will be great to not only see his string of finals appearances ended this year but to also see his team not even make the playoffs.

There is still a thing in the back of my mind that says the Broncos will surprise and do well lol. 98 percent of football fans (including me) thinking the Broncos will be lucky to win 5 games.... Watch them go 12-4 hahaha.

Denver is trying to catch a shooting star ala fivehead. Don't think it will work out as well this time.

this move also reminds me of another saying... Don't try to catch a falling knife. it could end ugly (for denver, most of us here would be amused! )
