If so, then you are correct. He was a beautifully single-minded idiot who walked right into Boom Boom who dropped bombs on him for the duration. Somehow, he did not allow himself to be knocked out during the fight, but he was basically knocked out forever when he died shortly after.

I've never seen a replay of that fight. I believe they haven't shown it because it involved a death, but I would definitely watch it again if I could.

Macho, btw, was a very clever guy who won 79 fights using all kinds of different methods, but he could be annoyingly chicken at times. Somehow I like the way Kim ended his life more than the way Camacho ended his.

One went out on his shield, like a warrior, and one went out like a junkie.

I saw the orginal fight as well.

ESPN did one of those 30 for 30 docs about it. Kim's grief-stricken mother eventually took her own life.
