Gronk is whining a lot...so, there is some truth to the rumors. He does most probably want a pay raise though.

BB doesn't put up a lot of BS though...and Gronk is closer to the end than the beginning.

Bucs, Lions, Seachickens. By the time we see them in the regular season Gronk should be retired.

I dont know but not sure I like him leaving considering we do not have a pass catching TE on the roster and now Brady is retiring so a rookie Qb is coming in.

Grab one, If IHung and Gronk picked up the TE position as Rookies, the next one will too.

I think the notion that just because a gronk existed that the next TE the pats draft will be another gronk. People seem to think that about QB's too. Oh we got Brady so therfore, we will get another Brady easily because those grow on trees.

obviously the greatest TE of all time will not be replaced by an equivalent player but IF you get a very good player or the next Graham even you are doing well

and Jimmy showed what he could do in a small sample for you and I but a much bigger sample to Bill every day practice.

What you can do is done over a long period of time. RG3 showed what he could do his rookie year....Bill made a decision for some reason its bashed, but then we turn around and say he is the reason for everything that is good. In the end, drafting a QB with no NFL experience is maybe a higher place than paying top 5 Qb money for a Qb with very little experience and a MVP QB still on the roster taking half of what other QB's are making. You still have to build a team, teams with High price Qb's usually take a dip right after. Ask the ravens. There is way more involved than thinking every backup the pats get is going to be Tom Brady.

RGinjury was doomed from the start, they drafted his replacement the same year.

I'm just saying we cant tell the future and you have to do what you can do. Timing was not the pats friend with the JG thing. I do not think it was as nafarious as people are making it. Its not always in the cards for a QB to leave and another to jump in and the winning just keeps going, its pretty rare. So many factors go into things like that. I am sure Bill and the patriots try very hard every year to win. Last year being no different.

actually it looked just like that but Tom is still playing well, No one expected him to be at this level still. A compliment to Tom but will he be in two years? that is a tough thing to say yes to when suddenly he is missing OTA's and other things, has not committed to the season coming up.

Bill would trade those guys away but I think while he is a cold hearted bastard, and I say that with the most affection I can, Bobby Kraft listened to hi old feeble heart and kept Tom last pre-season when Bill would have traded him.

Tom lasting this long is the issue and is another year or two worth a career of Jimmy G?

This is not the first year Brady missed some days in OTA's...Brady was MVP and took us to another superbowl...trading him last year would have been a mistake. At some point JG could have beat him out...it seems he didnt.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Brady doesn't play this AND he cried like a bitch about keeping Jimmy G? I will kick him square in his nuts...
