MMQB's All Time NFL Draft

MMQB takes a cue from Darth Despot and drafts its all time NFL team

https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/07/17/al...day-morning-qb

The MMQB All-Time Draft Hub | The complete draft, picks 1-300, plus coaches
Team-by-team rosters, with player bios:
Team Bussert
Team Wolf
Team Gosselin
Team Fouts
Team Turney
Team Brandt
Team McGinn
Team Horrigan
Team King
Team Polian
Team Wooten
Team Accorsi

Brady is the steal of the draft at 9 by PKing himself. But King also picks the brooding humorless Chuck Noll as his coach. I don't know if Brady would like Noll but my sense is 'not at all'.

Fouts picks Ray Guy 4th overall & ahead of Tom Brady. Moronic. Remember this next time he shows his bias against Brady the next time he calls a Patriots game. He ends up with Terry Bradshaw as his QB. And homer that he is, he picks Don Coryell as his all time coach.

There's a reason Aaron Rodgers drops to the 8th round and these drafters understand. Great arm but selfish and a loner - not things you want in a leader imho.

If I were in that consortium and a nitwit either next to me or via Skype or what have you selected a P 4th overall I would just stand up, close my laptop, gather any and all printouts, and walk away.

That surprised me - based on his previous picks I think he should have gone with Norv Turner.

(Repeating from other thread this was posted in):
Wow. I guess Brady and Belichick still need to win a couple more Super Bowls to cement their "legacy". Brady gets picked behind Unitis and Graham (and possibly only picked that high cuz King is the only one of this group high on him) and Belichick gets picked 4th in the coaches round. I suppose nostalgia rules!

Why? This is supposed to be the ALL time team. If he thinks some of his Bills or Colts players were ALL time then he should list them. I mean his Bills teams were locked and loaded in the 90s despite folding in the SBs.

FWIW, King does admit that he should have picked Paul Brown over Chuck Noll.

Given BB's admiration for Paul Brown, I suspect that TFB and PB would probably get along well.

He said if he picked any from Colts, Bills, Panthers that he helped build he then couldn't justify picking others.

Hogwash. If he can rank theirs he can rank his.
This is his way of not showing his own players what he truly thought of them.

Then why pick a team at all? King really should have surveyed some folks that are under age 50 for this exercise. I would love to see what a young exec or personnel scout would have chosen.
