It was more the coverage called for the play than Hobbs. There was no S help since the Pats decided to blitz. Blame the defensive play called.

Oh I know he had single coverage...I also know a blitz was called, I watched the same play when the Ravens did it, but it worked for them in the superbowl.

Since we are talking statistics and related probabilities and BB has already missed on a number of DB and WR selections we have the odds in our favor for a historic draft class.

This notion has been put to rest in my mind. BB drafts as well as anyone at both positions but he hasn't valued those positions, particularly WR, enough to draft them in the first round very often. In fact, BB has never drafted a WR in the first round for the Pats. If he did, I'm pretty sure they'd pan out well.

Then I see a resolve to the issue....draft a receiver in the first round.
