lol. I almost feel like I am in the locker room with these guys. Marcus Gilbert nails it. BTW hes been absent last 3 weeks...

"Maybe I don’t have it anymore,” Roethlisberger momentarily wondered aloud after the first five-interception game of his career.

“He’s not frustrated at all,” Gilbert insisted. “This guy’s one of the toughest guys I’ve probably ever been around. He looks at this and he laughs at it, I call it a little mind game. You guys can believe whatever y’all want to believe, I just know he’s going to be ready whenever this Sunday comes, you better believe that.

“There’s a lot of nay-sayers out there, they don’t think that he has (it), or say he should have retired. If you guys want to believe that he’ll let you guys go out there and believe that, then he’ll have that five-touchdown or six-touchdown game. He’s proven himself, there’s not much to be said. Everybody has up and down games but if certain guys aren’t running the right routes or we’re not blocking, getting hats on hats, that falls on our shoulders, too. Everybody’s had a little piece to do wth it, not just him.

“He knows how to overcome adversity. He’s done it in the past. I expect big from No. 7 this weekend.”

Steelers will break 30 this weekend. It will be enough.

Stealers match up well with the Chefs...they could win this game.

Just like the Donkos match up well vs the Pats.

It happens...

When are you going to tell your other Pitt buddies to come over to PP? We don't bite. Well, I don't bite.

His apology was actually sincere this time. BTW, I hope you realize most of these "professionals" we are watching in the NFL today are a product of our society...

An as far as it being a crushing loss... no less crushing than the ones the Pats have suffered. Shit happens. I expect both teams to put games like that behind them again this year.
Sure. And the star machine loves divas who develop their own signature moves and pile up stats for the fantasy geeks, etc., etc.

The thing that interests me is that team building is a philosophy and while the Pats love a guy that can play ball, we have an insistence that they fit into the team first and don't do destructive, self-indulgent bullshit to benefit themselves or Belichick puts a stop to it immediately or the player is sent packing. And mostly everybody around here understands why that is the case.

My point is that some guys just wouldn't fit here because the goal is a ring and nothing that gets in the way of that no matter how great their individual skill level may be is tolerated.

Your guys win a lot of games with divas, but at the end of the day we, more often than not, kick your asses with guys that don't have the same level of talent as Brown or Bell.

I find it amusing to watch teams lose their mojo when the rank and file get sick and tired of when a star or stars try to make it all about them.

We'll see how that goes, but you guys just got blasted by Jacksonville and I doubt it is just a total coincidence. You can think whatever you'd like.

Gotta play the odds. We lose the H2H tiebreaker with the Chiefs, but we still have an opportunity to win the H2H against Pittsburgh. If you want homefield, we need the Chiefs to start losing some games.

I understand all of your points but find it insulting that you view the Steelers as a team who's goal is anything other than a 7th ring - that they are a team dealing with "me first" athletes. I have to assume that is a media influenced opinion. We'll see how it goes.

This is the perfect week for KC to overlook an opponent that just got crushed by an avg team and it's the perfect week for the Steelers to have renewed motivation. It could happen.

I shake my head at this, too. Any time the Steelers lose against a pre-determined inferior team it's because they just aren't that good.

Nevermind that the Steeler's usually get every team's best shot.

But if KC somehow loses this weekend its because they will overlook
a team that beat them twice last year, one of those losses ending their season.

Whatever.
