Sounds like Ben is throwing in the towel after his 5 pick, 2 pick sixes performance yesterday. He has looked putrid most of this season. When he asked for Brady's jersey last year he was done IMO.

That’s taking “we do what we do” to a whole new level

I just saw the interview where he said it. I'm not convinced he was serious, when he said it.

Maybe because Brady has never had a 5 pick, 2 pick sixes game ... or spent an entire off-season hinting at retirement.

Hmm. didn't he have 4 picked off just recently? Sorry I don't pay that much attention to other teams.

An entire off season? Whew.

TFB also never had 12 TD passes in 2 weeks. What's your point?

AND its a weekly thing for him.
Pittsburgh.

Curious, did you watch the game Mazz?

He had a bad game. All QBs do. I was hoping the Steelers would win.

Four picked in a single game recently?

Well, it wasn't in 2016. Brady only had two picks all year.

Don't think it was 2015, either. Brady had seven picks that year. Don't think he had a game with more than two picks.

It's true, TFB has never had 12 TD passes in two weeks (although Brady does hold the single quarter record of 5 TD passes).

That 12 TD, two game stretch is the high point of Ben's career. Certainly better than any performance he's ever had in a Super Bowl.

Up-to-date stats:

Tom, with 8419 attempts, has thrown 153 interceptions in his career.
Ben, with 6127 attempts, has thrown 167 interceptions in his career.

Number of times QB has the led the league in TD passes:

Tom: 4 times (2002,2007,2010,2015)
Ben: 0 times

Um, no. He had 2 picks ALL last year and 1 pick this year.

I am not sure why you are upset at the reporter. Ben has been talking about retirement ALL off-season into this season. He has been playing like dog poop for 5 games now with yesterday being the worst of his career. The question was more than fair.

And if you are really trying to compare media, BB was asked about changing QBs back in 2014 when Brady started 2-2 and Jimmy was a rookie. Of course Brady only went on to win the SB that year but our media are savages when they sense a drop of blood in the water. Shank and Volin would have eviscerated Ben after yesterday and already have his eulogy posted without even asking the question. He got off easy by Boston media standards.

He's been raping the Steelers chances this year, forcing himself on the team whether they want him or not, even when they beg for him to stop he just keeps on pushing.

Like I said, i don't keep up with other teams QB's except for W or L's. I am probably biggest homer on the board. Lick me.

TFB's 4 ints were in 2011 when he was in his prime. shit happens.

Somehow I don't think there will be a thread started giving Ben props should he beat KC in KC this week but most of you will be making offers to the football gods to make it so.

Did I say I like feta cheese?

Not Upset Mazz,
And I wouldn't say dog poop (although he would).

He said he'ss all in for the season.

Oh and it's a team game. Sometimes the other team plays better.

You can hope he quits, I guess. I don't see it watching that game. It turned out being one of those 55 passes games. I give him props for making it all his fault but I know its not.

Well, I won't be rooting for the Steelers, but if they beat the Chiefs and it's due to Ben's efforts, I'll start that thread.
