I’ve thought for awhile the NFL lets their stars bend the rules a bit in that area to get them back on the field. There’s just no other explanation for the way some of these guys come back.

Last night's game really looked positive having Gordon, Thomas, and Edelman on the field at the same time. It seemed even #4 has some degree of ease finding open targets quickly. Thomas has lost at least a step and a half and appears to now be in the twilight of his career even at 31 yrs old. It was great to see Gordon out there and he has such a knack for getting open and making every effort to catch passes. Now sprinkling Harry, Meyers, etc. package changes in there provides a really tough spin for any D.

Loosing that game in the last 4 seconds was a major black eye for the D after their playing totally awesome throughout the preseason. Crossen made some good plays and some bonehead CB plays. I would not feel too bad if he did not make the 53 man roster. He is totally inconsistent and requires allot of development to improve this inconsistency of his play. Pats D having him covering Golden Tate is the same coaching disgrace as Eliis Hobbs on Plexico Buress in 2007 SB for the winning NYG TD.

Looking forward to the opener on Sept 8 on prime time Sunday night NFL. I wonder if has the sack to show up at Gillette?! If he does he'll need a hefty security team. Personally I believe the fans would not appreciate the stench, so we'll see. Go Pats !!!

Assuming he clears waivers. He was getting a lot of press earlier in camp, some lazy GM may claim him because he recognizes the name.

Myers not doing much helps our chances of getting him to the PS.

I like Gunnar a lot more. He’ll have a role. KR,PR, all STs, and depth piece WR.

Myers will likely be gameday inactive.

Like the Lions who got a good look at him and lost Kearse for the season.

So now the question is, what's the over/ under on the overlap between Gordon and Harry? Will Gordon make it long enough for Harry to come back? Be gone after a week? A month? Or will he make it all 16 games and the playoffs for the 2nd time in his career?

Another stupid post. No surprise.

As the thread is quite relevant since team your player was traded to is your opponent this week.
