There aren't any must-do road trips on the schedule. I'll save my vacation money for other things. In '20, they'll have 2 trips to LA, so that year may be a possiblity.

The close games may mean taking a couple Mondays and doing Sat-Mon trips.

Washington looks good for a family trip to site see Saturday and game Sunday.

Same with Baltimore for an adult Fells point trip sat, game sun, fly home.

Washington would be the only one I'd consider. But we've been there. I'd prefer road trips to be a fresh destination.

I have no desire to visit Baltimore or attend a game with that fan base. Same for Philly. Cincy would probably be a cheap trip, after all, who wants to go there. But that's the point, why would I want to go there? The same applies to Houston.

Baltimore fans, minus a couple dicks I quieted up by getting their own fans to take my side and turn on them, wasn't that bad.

But my brother, all his in-laws and some friends were in the city when the rioting broke out and they were stuck in their hotel rooms for several days so no many want to go there again.

I did Philly years ago, drove my RV there and the fans again were pretty cool to me and my group (because we travel to many stadiums and most fans appreciate that commitment) but I m good never going back.

Houston I have been for SB XXXVIII, no need to go back.

Cincy is a maybe only to meet King of Kings there, depending on the schedule but that is only reason.

Buffalo is always a last minute maybe.

same with Jets, The past two season a group went down early Sunday, partied in lot and stayed across the street to watch the second games before going to bed and driving back to work Monday AM.

Miami is most interesting destination for weather escape but it will be a crazy busy trip this year because it is the only attractive stop.

This gives Jr and I two chances to see the Pats next year. Probably the 'Skins game...I'll end up in jail if I go to the Crow's nest.

Miguel says the Pats are going into 2019 with a little less than $18M in available cap and this is how the Pats can create cap.

They can get to $25 million in cap space with Gronkowski’s retirement. • They get to $35 million in cap space with Gronkowski’s retirement, Dwayne Allen’s release, and Adrian Clayborn’s release.
• They can get to $45 million in cap space with the above moves, as well as lowering Brady’s cap number from $27 million to $25 million via an extension, lowering Devin McCourty’s salary from $9 million to $5 million, lowering Hightower’s salary from $7 million to $4.75 million and lowering Van Noy’s cap number from $6.3 million to $4.7 million via an extension.
•They can get to $50 million in cap space with Gronk’s retirement, Dwayne Allen’s release, Adrian Clayborn’s release, lowering Brady’s cap number from $27 million to $25 million via an extension, releasing Devin McCourty, lowering Hightower’s salary from $7 million to $4.75 million and lowering Van Noy’s cap number from $6.3 million to $4.7 million via an extension.
•In my estimation, $45 million to $50 million in cap space should be enough to ensure that the Patriots remain Super Bowl contenders. With that much in cap space, they should be able to extend several players.
SUMMARY
The Patriots will start the 2019 offseason with a lot of work to do and not a lot of initial cap space. However, this year, they appear to have several players who they can easily move on from and the release/retirement or trade of those players to create enough financial flexibility.
For more information, my 2019 Patriots salary cap table please see this page.

I do not see Gronk walking away from that much cash, I think he has been smart with his money but 25,000,000.00 is a lot.

I could be wrong but I thought I read Brady's cap number would only be $22 Million cuz he missed his performance incentives for this year and they will be rolled over to 2019.

Not sure about Gronk but he missed his as well.
