Discussing Mac's VP is about this issue as it is regarding his replacement should he die in office of natural causes. You don't regulate my speech because you don't agree with it. Mac is very old. Yeah, if you pointed out that his age brings with it the very real possibility of him not making it through his term, and thus his VP choice is very important, that would be one thing. Saying you hope he's ill is completely different.

He said it like there's going to be more. Not theoretical. He's been in Russia's face before the Georgia incident. The people surrounding him as advisors want more wars too. Iran etc.

God doesn't kill as far as I know. As far as I know we all have our time here. It's a natural fact of life. No one can change that.

I'm actually quite pleased with this pick. If they win, it gives her a leg (or two, preferably two) up on a run for president in the future, from a high profile position.

Obama may be preaching change, but he is still just another man running for president. Her as a potential VP, and potentially a future president? Well, that's REAL change.

This Iroquois is quite pleased with this pick.

Maybe we should discuss Joe Biden taking over as POTUSA should something happen too?

Well, he's in the same camp as Mac. He's for more war too. He's one of the earliest promoters of a new and dangerous Russia.
He may intervene differently is the only difference. He just may be Obama's Cheney.
He bloviated harder than anyone else up in Congress on Iraq and prevented debate on it too.

I like the pick in terms of strategy. It mitigates in some way, the "attack dog role" Biden was brought on to play. It MAY attract some women voters. From what I've heard so far, she's pretty conservative. And she's a hottie. Wins all the way around.

Damn... if both sides are for more war, it really makes it hard to decide who to vote for now. Dammit.

Oh well, I'll vote with my dick and cast my pole for the ticket with the vagina on it.

With all due respect, it's becoming more and more difficult to take your opinions even remotely seriously... for you, everything Obama does is 100% brilliant and everything McCain does is 100% idiotic.

You're like the Ron Borges of this forum... impossible to take seriously...

Precisely why I am an undecided voter. I would cast for the lesser of 2 evils ( Mac for me) if it was another time....but to me this issue is my top issue.

Home run, Mac. Home run.
How is that any worse than buying land and accepting campaign funds from a man that was under investigation by the grand jury then calling it a "bonehead mistake". No, it's called Chicago politics. Well, until someone actually ends up on trial, then all of the sudden it was a "mistake" and "poor judgment". Sorry, but do we want someone who admits to using poor judgment as president???

Nobody is clean in politics. It's all a matter of how dirty. And if she did fire a trooper who divorced her sister... That's minimal compared to most in the higher tier of politics.

Huh, we actually agree!

Obama's pick of Biden proves that he's all politics as usual. Anyone who wants to claim that Obama is about "change" is easily defeated when someone else points to Biden. Same... as... usual...
