I think we broke the seahawks

They should really be 1-4...........but thats on the nfl. Anyways since that interception from my second favorite player behind brady. The hawks have been looking terrible. I mean the bengals rally back from 17 down and beat them. The bengals lol. I honestly think they are carrying the woes from the SB. Even with graham which in our system would be flourishing right now, they dont know how to use him. Theyre just too many things ive seen wrong with them this year to write. Anyways whay do you guys think

The Bengals have made the playoffs for five of the past six seasons. Yeah, they've done nothing once they've arrived there, but during the regular season, at least, Cincinnati is no joke.

The rain city seahags spend more time studying their press clippings instead of
PCs game plan. @ least they discovered Rawls as a RB due to Lynch being injured. The Colts never discovered Lewis among their team last year. If the Colts had discovered Lewis, they would have determined that he was too small to play and cut him anyway.

It's rare for the Super Bowl loser to be a contender the following season. Losing that game is mentally crushing with a long hangover effect.

Not that I am trying to set the the NFC play-off picture just after week 5 but, in the NFC, there are 5 teams with a winning record. There are 8, 2 win teams. The Seahawks are 1 of them. I expect the Seahawks could be the 6th team.

That said, they don't look like a very good team. I watched the Packers, Lions and Bengals games.

It looks like this weeks game should be good measuring stick. They are playing the undefeated Panthers.

Even if they are, I wouldn't expect too much from them.

I just saw Seattle against a halfway decent team on the road, for example.

I think the Pats did more than break them, they tore their heart out. It was not just THE CALL either. It was the fact that Brady came back on them from 10 down in the fourth. Never had THAT defense ever conceded a lead that big in any game before. That has an effect for sure. They have lost 2 games this year after being up late - St. Louis and now Cincy and should have lost to Detroit as well. They are mentally spent in my opinion. Even Carroll is under the microscope for every decision he makes on the field as well as Bevell.

It also seems Lynch may be breaking down. They were silly to give him that big contract at his age. Their Oline stinks too so Wilson is basically making their whole offense go with his scrambling.

They still have a shot to make a WC I think but it depends really on their division. If they don't get ahead of the Rams then no way they make it sitting in third. And the niners are no slouch this year either. They are balling so those games will not be easy either.

What the Patriots did was show everybody how you beat Seattle. They're a very one-dimensional team offensively. You don't try to sack Wilson, you keep him in front of you and make him throw the ball downfield. Their receiving corps is essentially a bunch of #3 type receivers, and they have no clue how to use Jimmy Graham. Fully expect the 'Hags to go 7-9 this year and miss the playoffs entirely.

And with that blueprint, Wilson is on a pace to be sacked 70 times. I wonder how much they miss their all-pro center (and that 1st round pick they gave up), especially considering they're getting little out of Graham.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-jimmy-graham/

Quote:
No one thought that Jimmy Graham’s role in the Seattle offense would be an exact replica of his role with the Saints, but it’s probably safe to say that most people thought he’d be playing a different role than he’s played through the first five weeks of the season.

Graham has 21 catches for 204 yards on the year and has been targeted just 27 times, including five times in last Sunday’s loss to the Bengals. None of those targets came in the final quarter-plus when the Seahawks were trying to hold off a Bengals comeback in regulation or when they were trying to win the game in overtime, which Seahawks coach Pete Carroll addressed by saying the team could “use more” from Graham.

“We’d love to get more,” Carroll said, via Sheil Kapadia of ESPN.com. “We’d love to get more from everybody. I’d love to get the ball in his hands more. He did well in this game, but we could use more. We only completed 15 passes in this game, so we need to get more activity out of him, just like we need to get more out of the other guys too. But he’s working hard at it.”

A breakdown of Graham’s role in the offense shows that he’s lining up as an in-line tight end and going out for passes far less often than he was with New Orleans. That was expected, but he’s also being targeted less often than he was with the Saints and that’s a little harder to figure after weakening their offensive line and giving up a first-round pick to add Graham and his salary to the roster.

While it’s understandable that the Seahawks would love get more from Graham, they probably have to give a little more if they’re going to get it.

Abalone Pete broke the Seahawks. It's what he does in the NFL. A year or two of success, followed by failure.

No, karma broke the Ratbirds.

Of course, the general consensus around here still has them going 12-4...

Try as I might, even in the face of a 1-4 record, I still can't wrap my head around how awful they are.

That said, every time I look at the standings and get to the AFC-N and see where they stand, I come away smiling!
