Gillislee abnd Burkhead are hurt, White is more interested in personal logos than football, Lewis is an injury waiting to happen. Foster can't hold onto the ball. All we have left at RB is Brandon Bolden. Forget DE - RB and TE are worse but even they pale to our devastated WR corps. Amendola is always hurt, along with Mitchell and Edelman. Hogan left practice and put ice on his knee. Slater is hurt. Not that it matters too much 'cause there's no one to throw them the ball. JG sucked in OTA, Brissett sucked in first preseason game. If Brady gets hurt we're looking at drafting ahead of the Jets next year.

Don't you ever listen to Trenni, Tanguay and Felger?

Better that than going to the superbowl and have Eli throw a ball that hits a WR in the back of his head but the ball somehow gets stuck between his helmet and shoulder pads, and even though the WR is unaware, as he jogs off the field he crosses the first down marker with 2 seconds left in the game. FG good, Eli wins again MVP again.

I'm not impressed with Keionta Davis. Not even a little.

We'll likely be bringing in a veteran DE or two, because Kony Ealy just doesn't seem interested in being a Patriot and he'll be out of here very soon based on his casual effort against Jacksonville.

I was never excited about him to begin with. That superbowl was about the only really good game Ealy's ever had. He has talent, but is an underachiever. I'm just hoping that BB can get him more motivated, otherwise he will be sitting on the bench (or gone).

He was worth a shot. WOuldn't be the first player who woke up after teh team that drafted him let him go.

He didn't cost the Pats much. Boston mediots keep saying we gave up a second round pick for him, which is skewed reporting. BB gave up #64 and got #72 in return, dropping down 8 spots for a player who might do well with new coaching in Foxboro.

If he doesn't work out and BB uses the #72 pick on a DB, at least that pick is the top of the 3rd and not the bottom of the 2nd round, so we don't have to worry about a continuation of the 2nd round DB blues (RAs-I/Tavon/Jordan/Jones).

Every team has a break point.

With the players you listed it was a definite concern.

Lose McClelin to IR this week and then High in 1st half and yeah, we're at critical mass now.

Those two back and healthy we're fine at DE.

The more salient point is that DE was hardly the primary deficiency last night, or even anywhere near the top of the list, so bumping posts about it being the "one glaring weakness" makes little sense.

Malcolm Brown and Van Noy were terrible last night...among other players.
