Super Bowl thought: Peyton is no Brady

Peyton Manning is a great quarterback, but what we learned tonight in Super Bowl XLIV is this: He’s no Tom Brady in the pressure moment on the game’s biggest stage.

this is probably the most perfect way for this SB to have gone, it's like the football gods were just teasing us to make it seem as if manning had indeed shed his choker label but then at the most crucial moment in the game bam captain intercepto shows up to steal the show.

Peyton played like crap the year he won the SB, this year he played well in the playoffs and lost it with that one bonehead play.. I lol'd..

It worked out gr8, but I didn't want the Rats anywhere near the SB.

Of course, we can be sure to remind them that making the playoffs will be tougher next year since they have to plan on opposing teams usually trying to win.

Let me ask the smart football peeps this...there was no one outside at all when he threw that and Porter was inside all the way...shouldn't they (he and the WR) have adjusted the read? That throw goes outside & it's an easy 6 for the Colts.

I think manning was pressured and threw it quick.

Brady has never had a Super Bowl winning TD, just FG range. Peyton threw a pick in FG range. Brady just hit the flats over and over too. Wooopty doo.
