Bo Jackson was insane. Baseball is a damn hard sport to play at such a high level, the rosters are so small that every few actually make it, so to play pro Football at the same time as MLB is incredible.

Bo had a lifetime .309 on base percentage. In no way was he ever going to be in Cooperstown. Fast guy that was bad with the glove. Nice guy, liked him, but not a good ballplayer.

Career fielding percentage worse than Manny. Actually, a horrible percentage for a post deadball era outfielder. Note in the highlights his circling of the ball. Fast guy that never hit more than 17 doubles in a season. Great running back. A shame his NFL career ended early.

Maybe Deion did it because of Bo

Would not surprise me. Bo only had a few short years which is a shame as it would have been dynamite to see his careers pan out the way we got to see Deion.

Played a decade in the majors as a starter the last couple on an artificial hip. Made multiple All Star teams. You make him sound like he couldn't hold Lou merloni's jock.

I had no idea those were his stats. Thanks for posting. I am not much of a baseball fan but I was devastated when Bo could not play football anymore. I always thought that was his more natural sport.

I didn't know they played at the same time. In the highlights, Bo homers one over Dion.
