I am not sure why people think the backup Qb is every coming into a game early. When was the last time Brady took a seat in a non preseason game before the 4th quarter? Its just not something they do, they feel they are getting live practice. I heard Mike and Mike and one of them said that Tebow could go to the patriots so they can have a couple plays a game to put him in for a tricky play and Golic is like, why would you ever take Brady off the field and....why would Brady ever leave the field? Is a play by tebow going to garner better production than what Brady can do?

See, this right here..Sparano did this with the Jets...any momentum that they would get would go down the toilet because opposing defenses knew when Tebow came in it was either a run play or wildcat play and would adjust accordingly.

Mallett might start the whole game, like Cassel did in 06 (the Flutie dropkick game)

Yes I remember that, but even back to back games like that are a rarity. Didn't they put up like 59 points in one game? I know that they are fully capable of doing it, but I'd just say it's pretty unlikely but wouldn't be surprising at all. Plus, it's not like they're going for their own record any way.
