We're selling a boat and listed it on Craigslist just to hurry up and unload it. A guy asked us to deliver the boat and title the day after Thanksgiving and he'd pay the following Wednesday.

Ah......no.

I do not trust Craigslist at all.

Is this some sort of veiled Sanchez reference? If so, well played.

The things I hate about CL are the million replies you get that ask, "Is it still available?" When you say yes, you get the "Great! I am out of the area, but I will pay you and my shipping agent will arrange pick up" or the "I saw your ad and it will get better results if you click on this Google link"

I did sell the oil boiler I took out of my inlaws' house to a guy in MD who was going to use it to steam crabs at his crab shack. Iw was worth all the bullshit.

I have bought and sold quite a bit, and grabbed some really great deals, and even found Jobs on Craigslist, and considering its free, its one of the best avenues available, but you do need a bit of common sense when dealing with people, always scammers looking for fools.

This last year has been especailly tough selling stuff unless you wan`t to give it away, been buying way more than selling lately.

Why not? I bought a 20 year old RV in excellent working condition. Between what I paid for it, the work I had put into it to get it road-worthy, and some elbow grease was just a shade over $5,000.......And it's bought, paid for, registered, insured, and ready to roll.

I know how to swing a hammer and fix things as well as turn a wrench and work on a vehicle. Brand new, the same RV I bought will cost you $75,000.

I couldn't pass up the deal; It was too good to pass on once I checked it out and made sure it was legitimate.

Hell mikiemo you do that all the time. We all know it is just that you like exposing your ass to the world.
