It was a good game to watch, as a football fan. The rain was awful, both teams played their butts off, I never believed the 9'ers would win anyway, and didn't the Ravens turn the ball over also? Yup, the 9'ers may have made that 4th a first by running. They weren't winning that game anyway imho, but they made a game Of it.

Again, the Pats control their destiny, to a point. If they lose tonight, that bridge'll be full of naysayers. But it's only the start of the 'playoff season', imho.

The 9'ers lost the game in the first half, when they didn't have the balls to go for in at their 30.

You know when you're at the game, and you see somebody barreling towards the qb, and you know whats about to happen, but the qb doesn't? And then Wham. Thats what it was like today, when I could see them punting instead of going for it on that first down. Wham. They were going to lose, even if they didn't fumble at the 20 or whatever.

That's what's going through my little chestnut brain lol

It’s 2010 all over again. I hated the Jets and they were a game behind and they beat the Patriots the first time around. Anyway the rematch happened and boom Shaka laka 45-3. This is wishful thinking but I kind of want to happen again. Patriots 38 ravens 10

It's hard not to get excited over a player when they have that good of a season. Raiders did it with Carr, Browns did it with Anderson, Panthers fans did it with Newton (granted he had a couple nice seasons) 49ers fans did it with Kaep, etc.... I said last year, "Give Mahomes 2 years to do the same and then I will be impressed" He hasn't been bad this year by any means but he isn't exactly lighting it up like he did last year. Of course he is injured but hey..... that is apart of the game unfortunately. Now same with Jackson, he is the new Mahomes and flavor of the month. Let's see what happens next year with him. All I know is at some point EVERY SINGLE running QB gets hurt and then they aren't the same. He is a special player this year and I hope Ravens fans enjoy it.... Will it last...... Something tells me no, but time will tell.

I hate to repeat he will get hurt, because I don't know, but I am just going by history. It just never lasts for long. It goes good in college, but this notion that he is changing the NFL, well he really isn't. Its been done, tried, etc etc. Its working, but its not the only reason why its working. They have a silly good line, great TE's that work well in that system, and great backs that you have to respect on fakes. When they have got behind, he has not been a good passer, Browns game comes to mind. He is able to pass out of those weird formations , but at some point he will have to learn a bunch of new things. Can he? You bet, will he? Don't know.

I do know this, the idea of a QB coming in and ruling football for 15-20 years is not exactly common. It happens once or twice a generation. Every new QB the media fawns over, because they want that next guy after The Brady's and the Mannings leave, so guys get absolutely crowned. Mahomes has not been the same player this year, injuries, or whatever, He looks different and he isn't 42. So yeah I cannot see Jackson doing this for 10 years, but that does not mean he can't do something different and succeed, but it will have to be different.
