few questions about last nights game

When the pats did the flee flicker was player brady to julian to white on the stat sheet who get credit for the yards does tom or julian. also on that play there was a player #62 running lead blocker I had to laugh that a man that big ran that fast.
next is the pass to Gorder was the pass to julian to Gorden....also on that play Gorden didn't look like he was running that fast.

Again the pats got to first and goal and could not get it in....seam like this year out red zone TD are down....the pats won but still need to correct some things

Julian gets credit. The "pass" to Julian was actually a lateral (otherwise it would have been illegal).

I have another question. Brees went over the regular season yardage record with about 600 more attempts than any player ever, but anyway, when brees did this they stopped the game down, brought his family out, gave him a certificate, brought out a stage and dancing girls....Brady went over 80,000 yards with playoffs combined which is the only player ever to do that....I am not even sure the announcers mentioned it. Why are playoffs so looked down upon?

Because not everyone gets to play in them. Ridiculous but thatís the reason Iíve heard.

But if it was someone other than Brady Iím sure thereíd st least have been a mention. Focusing on regular season only is one of the only ways to bring Bradyís stats and records back to Earth (kind of). Add playoffs and itís game over.

Its just weird that regular season stats are more celebrated than playoff stats

BTW Brady has 577 career TDs, compared to Manning's 579. In 3 more TDs Brady will pass him and become first all time in career TDs. Let's see how much coverage of that there is or is not.

Because regular season records and post season records are for the most treated as separate. Yes there are combined records of the two, but the ones that are looked the most are ones in each season. The combine/career records are not looked at to much and are more in the background.

This is why Brees regular season record was celebrated.

This is true for all the major sports.
MLB home run record is regular only.
NHL goals/assists/points are regular only.
NBA scoring is regular only.

etc, etc, etc..............
