A Jaguar hype video for the game by Big Cat Country. The Jags are pretty good - an up and coming team. Our depth should get a good test.

Our first game thread. Oh joy!!

I am psyched to see our team and its first test. I would imagine Brady plays one to two drives and then it is Jimmy to see if he can knock off some of the TC rust and then I would think Brissett for part of third quarter and fourth. Although I would be happy to see Jimmy have some extended time.

I am also interested to see how Ghost looks. His form and technique. I still believe his woes last year were at least partially due to undisclosed injury. I hope he proves me right this year.

— Don’t expect to see Slater, McClellin, Rowe, Lengel, Valentine, Gillislee, Solder, Jones, Hollister, O’Shaughnessy, Garcia, Hightower, Jelks or Branch play in Thursday’s game. Amendola, Mitchell and tight end Rob Gronkowski also likely won’t play.

— Expect to see undrafted rookie defensive tackle Adam Butler and 2017 draft picks Deatrich Wise and Derek Rivers receive a lot of defensive snaps early in Thursday’s game. Rivers has been playing all over the defense in McClellin’s absence.

— It seems the Patriots will give offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle the chance to unseat Cameron Fleming as the team’s top swing tackle. He was playing a lot of left tackle in Solder’s absence.

I hope Brady isn't even dressed.

Give Jimmy G reps with the 1st stringers in Q1 then let Jacoby rock and roll against the future Arena Ballers.

Thanks.

That is the most positive thing I have heard about Rivers all summer. Would also like to hear more good things about Garcia, but again haven't heard much . I expect Jelks to go on IR and be next years free mid round draft pick.

I really liked Waddle in his fill-in duty a couple of years ago.

I intend on keeping a close eye on the young DLs. I'd say this is the position with both the most opportunity to win a job and also the largest number of kids getting good reviews. Adam Butler is the one I am most curious to see with Deatrich Wise close behind.

On the OL, I want to see the center rotation and will assume Ted Karras gets a lot of snaps at RG with Shaq Mason hurt. I want to see if Karras looks improved and ready to take a step up. Lets see what an offseason in the program has done for him.

I'd also plan to watch Conor McDermott as I've read next to nothing about his TC, but like what I saw of him at UCLA.

It promises to be a shitshow, but I'd like to see Jimmy mount a couple of consistent drives.

It does not appear very many 1s will suit up but still good to let Jimmy and Jacoby run the team and see where the 2s and 3s are. I wonder if the Jags will play many of their 1s?
