Why? I said it 3 times.

The story that Brady thought he would be traded last off season was reported by multiple local reporters. It's not opinion; several reporters verified it. It's fact. Brady thought last year was the end of his Pats career so he went to Kraft.

So why would he think he was going to be traded? Again, there is a huge difference between Brady saying he wants to play into his 40's with the pats and ESPN spinning a Brady forces the team to trade JG. Again, if BB wanted Brady gone, he would be gone, just like every other player that has played for this team that has left.

I'm pretty sure that I said, I mistook your quote to mean what ESPN was spewing, not sure why you keep saying it. I then showed you the reports from the guys who reported it. Not sure why you are still saying that.

Thank you, that is what I am trying to show, the BS reporting....this is Jeff Howe a Boston writer who I follow, this was his take after reading it, so lets stop pretending that nobody took it that way. This is all about ESPN, this is all about the typical BS that they run to come up with right around playoff time every freaking year, and the media runs with it, and shit gets wrote that for a damn fact tries to lead people to think a certain way.

If you think Tom Brady forced Robert Kraft to force Bill Belichick to trade Jimmy Garoppolo, I’d recommend that you finish shoveling my driveway. There’s gold at the bottom.

You know what though, Pats will read this crap, they will rally the troops like they always have to, and it will motivate them again.

Leave ESPN out of it.
I told you how things went down. Several people associated with the Pats have told me the same thing. I believe it to be true.

You're free to believe what you want to believe.

I am telling you why I'm upset, its about ESPN, I already moved on from your take when I told you I mistook your intentions in your post. Again and I have said 3 times now, it was reported that Brady FORCED the pats to trade JG...Not Chevss reported it....ESPN and Bruce Allen reported it. This is about ESPN, so cannot really leave them out of it, but Mike Reiss who reported its BS, and others that have tweeted, I feel might have a better insight than wickerstaff from espn.

Just read the story which released at 1 AM....anyway. It seems the patriots have about 20 or 30 unnamed "staffers" who sit in on all of Belichicks and Brady's meetings. Who knew. So basically Brady has a fragile ego, Belichick is a victim, and the pats are falling apart. Welcome to stories before the playoffs brought to you by ESPN.

Pretty scurrilous article.

You know it's BS because Tom has ALWAYS known his place. A couple of years ago at a presser, BB was asked does he ever consult with Tom when acquiring or letting players go and what does Tim think of you letting go of X receiver etc. etc.

BB looked at the questioner as if he were mad and simply said, "Tom's a player". i.e. he's not a coach, not in charge and it's nothing to do with him.

Tom knows this and has ALWAYS been respectful when it comes to BB. There has never been tension there and at this stage in both their careers, there never will be. They've both come too far.

It's a nasty piece, an attempt to sensationalise a nothing story and get some badly needed attention for the Failing ESPN.

You know it's a BS piece wen BSPN can't hide their prejudices.

Quote:
Those who know Belichick and Brady well are amazed that they've co-existed this long, two ruthless and proud self-made men, both secure though still unfinished in their legacies, both loved and hated, both having received stiff penalties for cheating,

After reading this entire thread my impression is this. TFB went to Kraft and said he intended to play for however many more years. TFB fully intended to do so as a Patriot. If the Patriots felt differently, TFB would be searching for other opportunities to continue playing. Kraft and BB talked and made decisions based on how they felt about the end of TFBs career. Is there more a student of the game than BB? Is there anyone who respects the players (in a professional sense) more, or understands the historical significance of what this TEAM has done? Add to all this, that TFB is or should absolutely be MVP this year, and it is kind of easy to see why JG is gone. A difficult decision, yes. Was there any question of what the decision would be, I would think not. All the rest is people tryng to pick scabs.

BSPN is really losing its stuff big time. This "hit" piece just regurgitated everything the local media has been speculating about since Jimmy was traded. HALF the article was on Guerrero!

I really do love how just about all the moves BB makes drives the media ape. Whenever this ride does end, we will miss being the center of the universe. But for now, the quest for title 6 awaits!
