Very cool that TB has as many passing TDs as the top 4 JETE QBs combined in the regular season (more now). However while he's an amazing regular season QB, playoffs are where Brady reigns supreme. Consider the following nugget:

JETE total playoff passing TDs in franchise history: 35
Bills total playoff passing TDs in franchise history: 39
Dolphins total playoff passing TDs in franchise history: 55
Tom Brady total playoff passing TDs: 63

Tom Brady (553) passes Brett Favre for the 2nd-most TD passes (regular season and postseason) in @nfl history. #

Tom Brady has 3 TD passes tonight, breaking a tie with Joe Montana for the most playoff games with three or more TDs in @nfl history. #

Brady extended another record on Saturday simply by showing up, starting his 35th postseason game. That’s a record he already owned, just as he owns the postseason record for passing yards, touchdowns, and of course, victories.

He also became the oldest quarterback to ever win a playoff game, which represents a victory in a battle against Father Time that he’s battling on his own.

Most Postseason Touchdown Passes, NFL History
1. Tom Brady, 66
2. Joe Montana, 45
3. Brett Favre, 44

Most Postseason Passing Yards, NFL History
1. Tom Brady, 9,431
2. Peyton Manning, 7,339
3. Brett Favre, 5,855

Most Postseason Playoff Wins By QB, NFL History
1. Tom Brady, 26
2. Joe Montana, 16
T-3. Terry Bradshaw, 14
T-3. John Elway, 14
T-3. Peyton Manning, 14

I assume 20 years means going back to the '97 season. Make it 21 years and the Pats number goes to 13.

Connor Orr of SI has written what I think is a really interesting article. Kinda Belichick related, but more to do with his Father and the book he wrote.

Robert Kraft purchased the Patriots 24 years ago today for a then-record $172 million.
Today the team is valued at $3.4 billion.
The AFC Championship played today vs the Jaguars will be his 43rd postseason game as Patriots owner.

Thank you Bob & Myra Kraft. This has been one helluva fun ride for me.

The Patriots defeated the Jaguars yesterday in the AFCCG and will play in SB LII vs the Philadelphia Eagles in Minneapolis. 8 SBs in 16 seasons for TB12 & BB. History is still being made. Records are still being broken. #NotDone

Kevin Clark of The Ringer has a piece Pats fans will surely like.

Quote:
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick erased their fourth double-digit fourth-quarter deficit in the playoffs Sunday, and no one thinks it’s particularly special. This is not normal: No other quarterback has done this more than once, and no other franchise has done it more than twice. Football nerds get everything they want from the Patriots, and this year’s version of the team ticks all of the boxes for the casual fan: They are good enough to always be in big games, imperfect enough to keep them close, and they understand situational football so well that they still usually end up winning. If you watch a New England game and feel nothing, it means you have died.
Quote:
This is Patriots football: Let the other teams make mistakes, and know how to make plays at the end of the game. Aside from the arrogance and the cheating scandals (the nationwide hatred, mind you, started long before Spygate), the apparent but just-out-of-reach mortality of the Patriots is what most frustrated opposing fans. They look like they should be losing all the time. “It’s not the despair … it’s the hope I can’t stand,” John Cleese says in Clockwise. And this is the way the NFL views the Patriots. Everyone gets close; few finish the job.
Quote:
Perhaps because we’re running out of things to say, the conversation surrounding the Patriots and their dominance is remarkably stupid. In light of the team being called for only one penalty Sunday — the lowest total in a playoff game since … the 2011 Patriots — mainstream outlets floated theories that there is a pro-NFL conspiracy to help the Patriots. Leaving aside that New England fans fretted about the selection of Clete Blakeman to head Sunday’s game because he’s been bad for them in the past, there’s a bigger problem with the theory: It is inane to think that NFL executives, who’ve spent a combined 50,000 years trying to suspend Brady for deflating footballs, have now flipped to be viciously pro-Patriots.

Here’s a better theory: As discussed in this story and in others, Belichick associates believe secretive Patriots aid Ernie Adams helps study the tendencies of referees and figure out what officiating crews are more likely to call certain penalties. Perhaps the Patriots get superstar calls, perhaps the oft-discussed idea of home-field advantage really being about referees reveals itself often for the Patriots because they always play at home. Or maybe they are just smarter than everyone else. We have plenty of evidence to suggest they usually are.
This is only a sampling, the entire piece is worth clicking.
