Was a HUGE VH fan in HS.

Now a lot of it just sounds goofy.

That's their only two good songs...

Still better than Coldplay or Nickeback though.

much more for the music than the lyrics. Block out Dave's stupid bubble gum pop lyrics and just listen to Eddie play.

He is part machina now...
Deus ex Machina, God on a machine, indeed. Dropped from nowhere and imposed the Patriot Dynesty, the Patriots mythology, the legend of Tom Brady, on the shield, forever.

The final episode dropped. As expected, a morose, ominous tone.

Light is shed on the inner atmosphere at 1 Patriot Place.

Toms own words about conviction and questioning why is the equivalent of talking retirement- once the word is on your lips I think you’re already out the door.

And I think Bill has read this too. So he KNEW the correct play was JG. But with an icon Krafty was not as willing or capable as Bill was.

By the tone I think this is TBs swan song.

What I found interesting is Gisele said the last two years have been trying on him. She also said he got over this SB loss a lot quicker than the other two.

I am not sure what to make of it as it was taped just days after the SB loss when I would imagine every player goes through thinking if they want to continue.

I have been watching Tom on the TV circuit this week and he seems as motivated as ever so perhaps this was just a lull after a huge loss.

I think the most telling sign will be whether or not he signs an extension this year. If he doesn't than that means 2 more years and that's it. BB needs to hit big time on this draft for QB.

Definitely shortly after the SB loss.

But they’ve had a month to put it together. They know EXACTLY what they’re putting out.

He’s torn at this point. Can’t say I blame him. He’s done it all. GOAT. With a beautiful wife and family.

Bill definitely needs his next guy. Now.

I think Tom's intent was to be real in this documentary. Most of us thought it was just a TB12 infomercial and it wasn't. He was as raw and honest as we have ever seen him. This last episode was painful but he put it all out there.

I really need to sit down and watch it (all the episodes) from start to finish to see the finer points he was trying to convey.

Had the Green Bay Packers traded Aaron Rogers and stuck with Brett Favre though the annual retirement tour I think we'd all have agreed they were really stupid.

True enough.

What were the 3 SBs that Brett Favre took the Packers to at the end of his career? They seem to have slipped my mind.

Being that the decision node was this off-season I think the fair question is what happens from here forward.

If we go to even one more Super Bowl under Brady I will admit it was the right decision.

If Brady plays one more year, doesn't make it to the dance and retires I'll say it was wrong.

If Brady plays 3 more years without making a SB I will call it a good decision.

But every other player in the Belichick era was not judged on what he did last year but on what he was expected to do next year.
