This would cripple the Patriots on the outside if this turns out to be the case, as Edelman has really come into his own as Welker Jr. since Week 2.
Essentially, Edelman is out.

Yes they are and that eliminates excuses for the Pats. Pats leave it on the field, FINISH in the 2nd half this is a signature game.

Go Pats

No, Reiss is correct. As soon as Edelman steps on the field, Brady and Hoyer are done, doesn't matter which position he plays.

Both Saints starting corners are out? Wow, nice. Is ole friend Gay still on that Saints? If he's starting I would imagine BB will have a darn good scouting report on how best to beat him. I would expect plenty of 3/4 WR sets looking to test the Saints secondary depth this game.

Bush being out helps the containment issues of him out of the backfield.

I hope we have enough receivers to exploit it. I guess we will have Stanback and Aiken playing as the third WR with Edelman still hurting.

From PFT:

"Inactive for the Patriots are wide receiver Julian Edelman, running back Fred Taylor, cornerback Kyle Arrington, cornerback Shawn Springs, linebacker Junior Seau, guard Rich Ohrnberger and tackle Sebastian Vollmer."

So that answers the Seabass question... dammit...

Get better Seabass. We'll see who starts at RT since, supposedly Kaczur was also a game time decision.

I love me the Sebastian...

But look at the bright side...we have Sammy Morris in the house, and Light is ready to play. And Stephen Neal. I'm thankful for that.

And Reggie Bush isn't playing for the Saints? Wow.

Here's to a happy Patriots game!
