I think it's legit. Not a fake. The guy has unreal talent when there aren't people trying to kill him.

Just think of his ability to put onside kicks right where it needs to be. You could sign him up and cut your punter, too for the rookie minimum, which is more than he could make in a lifetime fishing for smelt or whatever people do for money in Norway. Whittling pipes. Waxing skis.

I'm probably as dumb as a stump for thinking this is real, but I'm intrigued.

Oops. splice. More accurtely, a discontinuity, as it is digital not tape. The ball takes a slightly different route and the kicker shifts in space very slightly.

It could be real, but I don't believe it. The guy in the boat in the early part is so far away you can't tell if he catches the ball or it goes behind the boat.

Maybe it got better after the first 28 seconds. I stopped when I saw a discontinuity.

Did you see the one with the guys surfing on a wave in an Amsterdam canal caused by dropping a stick of dynamite in the water? That was cool, too.

I've seen high level college kickers doing the same type of stuff as he does on the field. It actually pisses off their coaches because sever angle kicks mess with their fundamentals. I'd like to see him execute some actual kickoffs and real field goals with a snapper and holder to see how he looks.

Nate Kaeding used to kick from the back end zone pylons and arc it through the uprights in warmups when he was at Iowa. I guess it's basically a corner kick with a football, but that ish was still crazy.

I don't get impressed at all with any kicker highlights when there's no rush. I've seen guys kick 70+ yarders with regularity. It's all about the trajectory. Add in the timing of the snap/hold, and the angle necessary to clear the line and things change quickly. I remember when we played at Penn State my sophomore year, our FG range was limited. That was the "LaVarr Leap" year and we measured Arrington's vertical at about 13', so the kickers had to practice with this obstruction object all week to simulate Arrington's leap at the line.
