Funyuns SHOULD have caught that TD...but, whateva.
I just love saying Funyuns. And Fickens the name of the Rams kicker.

Tom Brady (40)
Aaron Rodgers (34)
Drew Brees (38)
Russel Wilson (29)
Carson Wentz (25)
Ben Roethlisberger (35)
Phillip Rivers (36)
Matt Stafford (29)
Matt Ryan (32)
Alex Smith (33)

And that's assuming Watson and / or Garoppolo are not for real, as both of them look great but are on limited sample sizes. The ordering of that list is obviously open to a lot of debate, but do you feel there are any QBs that really deserve a spot on the list which are not there, or QBs on there undeserving of a place?

Overall, I'm not that worried about it. I find it more likely the Rams / Falcons is representative of the future, but it's disingenuous to suggest that all great QBs are about to retire, or there's no signs of any great new QBs coming up.

In terms of Newton, I don't hate the guy. I have defended him up here at times as he can be a brilliant player and he for sure is a character off the field which is good for the game. But his play ON the field irks me at times. Not jumping on his own fumble in the SB, looking lethargic for stretches of the game yesterday because his receivers dropped some balls ... it is all annoying and not what a leader should do but obviously that is not him. It kind of is what it is but they had a real chance to win yesterday if he played the whole game the way he played the final 5 minutes.
So, you hate Garappolo, but not Newton. I guess that makes sense.

I do have a solid hatred for Newton and felt almost giddy for about 10 minutes after that game watching the biggest hot dog in pro sports melt down at the end, as he usually does.

I particularly loved him pitching a hissy-fit on the ref for daring to call a grounding flag on him, when it was a textbook grounding all the way.

The 10-second runoff was just the frosting on the cake. I bet Newton doesn't even know the rule or he would have just taken the sack yardage. Chances are it wouldn't have mattered, but if he had his head in the game his team would have had another chance to pull it out.

I've never seen an athlete who spends more time posing and preening for the cameras when he isn't too busy running his mouth. A total phony. He's all sizzle and no steak.

Agree.

Watching them break huddle and he remains behind for the glory shot on 1 knee. Dab. Coming up behind C and adjusting his belt. He’s just an attention slob. Dab. Big display of prayer before snap. Dab.

Watching him evade the sack, curl, then rise partly only to get positively hit by a bus was a joy not often replicated.

Hope his post game outfit included a band aid on his fedora.

Newton is talented...

He doesn't have the mental toughness though. Absolutely devoid of it.

And all three of them are assjacks.

I wish I could give 10 reps for this post, but, YES, he does all that stuff all the freaking time. There are a lot of total divas in pro sports, but he's the King of them all.

Oneymata (sp?) was my hero for cleaning his clock like that. And it was both clean and brutal.

I actually wondered if Newton brings two outfits for the post-game presser, including something less outlandish just in case he coughs up a fur ball. It would not surprise me.

If Newton prepared for that critical situation with as much care as he puts into looking "good" after the game then he would have had 34 seconds left with a more manageable distance to go for a 1st down and maybe they could've pulled it out. That is some egregiously bad quarterbacking by a guy that's been around long enough to know better.

THIS x's 100000000. Cam Newton is a complete dip wad. Him and his ****ing hats after a win make me want to puke. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to see him fail because I know he will cry like a little girl and this, in turn, will make me laugh like a little kid at the circus.

Youd be the only person on the planet that would take Edelman, Vereen, Hooman, Collie(he just got a concussion when I typed his name), and Dobson over Funchess, Olsen, McCaffrey, and JStew.
