Wild Card Weekend Games

4 games this weekend. First one today at 4:20. Tenn at KC. Winner of this game most likely plays the Pats.

The game I am most looking forward to is tonight - Falcons at Rams. Should have a lot of scoring. I just love watching the Rams play.

The Chiefs season is going to end the same way it began...and ass-kicking at the Razor.

Falcons will win this one and I don't think it's going to be very close. Just a feeling that's come over me the last week. I've been on the Vikings out of the NFC since Week 4 but for some reason I'm feeling Falcons now. Something intangible about them has changed, probably attitude based on the way their defense has been playing. Actually wouldn't be surprised to see them run the NFC for the next 2-3 years.

I guess today I'll be rooting for Titans and Rams. It's like absolute zero outside today, I am not going anywhere.

Same teams for me as well.

Unfortunately, we have to make a shopping trip. And some friends invited themselves over for the evening and they are not football fans.

I am not feeling you on the Falcons. They looked pretty abysmal vs the Saints just a few weeks ago. I think winning 3 on the road is too tall an order. If they didn't draw the Rams I would feel better about them. That being said, I am more than fine seeing them in the SB again.

In terms of the NFC, if the Iggles can teach Wentz not to play like Superman flying through the air with his feet up than the NFC is theirs to own for the next several years with the Vikings nipping at them and the Rams too.

Hopefully they will be at least taking interest in the commercials.

There is nothing worse than trying to watch something that is important to you with people who think it is completely irrelevant. Or won't refrain from asking Football 101 questions at key moments.

I find that stating "ask me that later" is a good deflector. They never do that and I don't come off as overly rude, which is better than going "STFU".

On the NFC side I'd like the final game to end up being either Saints/Viks or Eagles/Viks.

On the AFC side, I think a Pats/Jags NFC Championship would be cool. Seeing the Jags beat the Steelers would be awesome.

As for today.... I don't really care who wins between KC/Ten, but I guess I'd like to see the Rams win over the Falcs? I think? IDK. Don't really care.

To me, Rams/Falcons is a matchup of Frauds vs. Psychologically Damaged.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Guess I should mention as a warning that since the Chiefs have gone so long without a playoff win, and they stand a good chance of winning today, there is a chance for board performance issues this evening because of Chiefsplanet.

2 years is a pretty rough stretch without a playoff win. Reminds me of the dark days of 2008-2010 when the Pats went 3 whole seasons without one.

Oh. I thought I heard it was longer. Oh well, the point still stands, but there probably will not be an issue.

Probably won't get to watch either of the games today.

I'll watch the ones on Sunday, though. Well, if they catch my attention anyway. I've found that if it doesn't relate to the Pats it just doesn't reel me in.

I agree - I don't like to watch teams that are floundering.

They haven't won a home playoff game since 1992.
