I drive past a National Grid facility on my way to work. The lot usually only has a few cars. Since yesterday, it's been overflowing with vehicles and I saw many trucks out on the road. They're working. But many of these outages are small and isolated. So one crew can fix a spot but only result in a handful of homes getting their power back.

Their neighborhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn came out of it with no issues. They never lost power. They walked around yesterday and didn't see any damage in the immediate area.

He doesn't think they'll be working this week. His office is in the blackout area. His partner's office has power. But without the subway, there's just no way to get from Brooklyn to Manhattan unless you get a taxi.

Here in southeastern NH lost power Monday at 4. Still running off the generator. Need to find a shower.

Here in the Lakes Region of NH we had some rain and virtually no major wind. Still lost cable and internet but power has been fine.

I'm also in Southern NH and lost power from Monday around 2:00pm but it was back on Tuesday at 3:00pm (a new record in getting power back, I'm usually out way longer then everyone else... or so it seems :-) ). Since we had just installed a built-in whole-house generator after being without power for 4 or 5 days after the last 2 weather events, the power outage was a non factor.
Unfortunately the shingles on my roof didn't hold up so well.... I lost shingles in three areas and was in my attic with buckets and blankets/towels to keep water from coming thru the attic into my 2nd floor ceilings

Got the roof fixed up the next day so all's well.

I didn't go thru the entire thread so hopefully everyone and their loved-ones are ok.

MY work is going to need a month worth of repairs. To the guest rooms on the bottom floor and the cafe thanks to the flood.
