Hoagies and Berries and WR's oh my!

Well, actually Hogan and Berrios, but let's talk about the WR corps for next season and who we might trade for come draft time or otherwise. I would personally like to see Gordon return, but I think Berrios can take on a sizeable role if given the opportunity, and the idea of drafting Andy Isabella is something I like a lot in terms of being a stud for the future.

I would actually pony up a 1st and a 3rd for AJ Green and throw some other ammunition in there, focus on the D and the offensive line, of more need to us in my opinion.

For Green? No way BB would do that. There are too many really good prospects I'd rather see BB use a 1st on - Hakeem Butler for example. And too many other 2nd and 3rd round guys who are young, cheap and talented. Guys like Boykin, AJ Brown, Deebo Samuel & others.

Only thing about drafting a wideout is they usually take some time to get used to the NFL style which is probably harder here than anywhere. While its good for the future, not sure they are going to make a big impact first year which leaves 33 year old Edelman and Dorsett and some guys, without gronk...very interesting year on offense unless something changes.

Right now the total money going to receivers on the Patriots is 11 mil. That would be an insulting number to some single receivers in the league for just them., lol

I would not give up a first-round pick for any WR 30 or over. I wouldn't for any one not on their rookie contract, to be honest.

I'm sure AJ Green will be his typical awesome self for his typical 10-game season this year.
