Giants are a HOT Mess

Reese and McAdoo fired. Eli to apparently start this week because Mara was afraid of former players showing up in Eli's
shirt.

This has been a glorious week.

Somewhere Coughlin is grinning ear to ear.

In my opinion they're doing too well, their spirits haven't been crushed into dust yet like mine was on that horrible February day in 2008... Hell if they were the Cleveland Browns I'd still think they were getting off light.

The one consolation I have is my religion (that I made up all the rules for myself) tells me that all my enemies will burn in Hell for all eternity.

I caught a few minutes of the NE tailgate on the topic and Fred Smerlas mentioned a few things about how all the Giants fans got to see Geno Smith melt down and then added "When the Jets flush their toilets it ends up in the Giants locker room".

I think I got what he meant, but leave it to Freddy to sum things up that way.

  • GM prospects range from Nick Caserio of the Patriots and Eliot Wolf in Green Bay to Scott Pioli and ESPN's Lous Riddick
  • Giants are in no rush, and shouldn’t be, as several candidates with current teams can’t be hired before their season is over

Nothing at all "Hot" about it, they are just a mess.

Coughlin epitomizes "living well is the best revenge".
I admit, I thought his run in NY was probably up when they let him go, but Reese should have gotten the axe as well. His player moves were a LARGE pert of the problem imo.

I think Reese was the only one who should have gotten the axe back then. Other than Beckham, who has he drafted in the past 5 years that was any good?

JPP? Not sure if 5 years or less though.
They should also take a look at their training staff/medical staff etc. IIRC they have had an inordinate amount of injuries over the past at least half decade or so.
