It's not even a question because the most likely state of affairs is if Tom felt a little woozy he wouldn't tell anybody who had the authority to report it or remove him from the game.

Telling his wife later isn't supposed to be dangerous. Until she blabs it by accident. Now he won't even tell her anymore.

The takeaway here is "never tell your wife anything."

That should read "never tell your wife everything". There are some things just shouldn't be shared with your spouse.

I am certain Brady will use this as op to talk about TB12 sports center and how he is able to fend off concussions beforehand with avocado juice.

Here is a transcript of what happened.

[Monday - off day]

Gi - Tommy, you need to get ready we have to be at the anti-GMO protest in less than an hour.

TB12 [looking annoyed] Um, I think I got my bell rung a bit yesterday, why don't you go ahead without me.

Gi - should I stay home with you?

TB12 - Nah, I'm good.

Gi [leaving] - OK call if you need anything.

TB12 [sets his phone alarm to wake him up for MNF - pulls down his hat over his eyes and falls asleep on the sofa with a smile on his face]

Furia tells a story about losing to the Redskins September 2003 and being pissed at Tom for being a total ass and messing up constantly only to figure out he may have been mushy mushy mushy at the time.

of course I think the Pats went on to win a few games after that defeat, maybe quite a few in a row, was it 21?

The same proof as they had about his involvement with deflated footballs.

The NFL never needed proof before. R0thlesberger and others were never even charged and they were suspended. There was no difference between HGH. With the deflategate ruling, they don't even have to be rationale or even have a reason. Think, even though it was clearly shown the weather accounted for the lack of pressure, and even though the Colts balls were also deflated, Brady was suspended and the Pats lost a first round pick.

They don't have to be consistent. Brady can be hammered for not turning in a phone while Favre was fined $50k. Rodney and Peypey both had HGH shipped to their homes. Only one was suspended.

Crowd noise clearly affects a game, yet Blank can pump in noise for a minor draft pick and talk about how the deflategate punishment fit the crime.

It is the arbitrariness and clear double standard that pisses me off. Now I have to stop wacthing football news until training camp or watch my blood pressure rise.

A few years back, P.Manning out and out said publicly that he fudged his baseline concussion test so they would have a harder time taking him out. I doubt he was the first one , or the only one, to feel that way.

I had 2 concussions playing high school football and both times I had no idea I had one until well after the game. The first time I had a migraine later that night which I slept off. The 2nd time I had a migraine with vomiting. I went to the ER they said the brain scan indicated a grade 3 concussion. In both cases I played the entire game with no obvious symptoms.

You can't put the onus on the players for this type of injury. The hit that causes it needs to be seen by sideline doctors and then evaluated. How does a player diagnose/evaluate themselves?

I have listened to a few shows today and NO ONE is talking about Brady being in any sort of trouble. The focus has been on the NFL protocols and the bind the league is in with players who do not disclose if they are hurt. There has been also zero talk of the Pats being in trouble as most assume they were not aware of Brady being concussed as he is an old school player who got his job due to injury and is not going to come off the field.

Honestly, guys I think this is a lot of hot air and something to just fill the off-season because it is concussion related and that gets everyone's juices flowing because they can bash the league.

I agree with this. I think the NFL would prefer that this just gently go away without any further reports. They want nothing to do with concussion talk. The NFL statement was media driven, they could not say nothing. Now they'll just hope that the short attention span of most people tales over and everyone forgets about it by tomorrow.

I think all this means is a lot of fans are going to be upset when a favorite player is pulled from the game "just in case". Protocols will become stricter and games will be decided by these actions. Down the rabbit hole we go.
