I like it.

It's all a big chess game.

Osama picks Biden because Obama isn't qualified or has no experiance so he picks someone who's a Bulldog.

McCain pick the woman to get Hill's Dems and undecided and also the horney male vote.

She is a lot smarter than Biden who...is borderline retarded if you ask me.

She will F him up in the debates.

Advantage....McCain.

Watch fore a double digit bump after the Convention.

Sorry, folks. You're dreaming if you think this will win Hillary's women. She's pro-life, and Hillary's base is catty old women. No way they vote for a woman who is younger and hotter than them. .

God doesn't kill as far as I know. As far as I know we all have our time here. It's a natural fact of life. No one can change that.
There's nothing theoretical about there being more wars in the future. There will probably ALWAYS be wars. To deny that is to be blissfuly naive. McCain is all about telling it like it is, even when the truth isn't pretty. There will be more wars, there will be bad things that happen. It's not nice to think about such things, but it's better and more healthy to accept the truth and be prepared for it, than to gloss over things that are unpleasant and deny that they exist. For instance, when Bush said in that interview during the Olympics, that he doesn't think there's anything wrong with America. I'd much rather have a President who can identify what's wrong, admit that his mere presence doesn't automatically make everything cotton candy and lollipops, and then get down to solving those problems, than have a guy like Bush simply deny that they exist.
IMO, that's what McCain was saying about war. There will always be wars. Let's not deny that.

So how would you feel about assassination? Would it be ok to go around the world and just pick off every leader believed to be bad for the greater good?

Or how about other situations. Like, say you're a firefighter. You're fighting this huge fire. All your guys are in there, and it's getting out of hand. You need to get out of there. One of your guys gets pinned under a fallen beam. Do you say "sorry buddy, you're out of luck! We're all getting out of here! Better for you to die than risk all of us dying!", or do you and some of your fellow firefighters rescue your comrade? "Greatest good for the greatest number" can be a pretty distasteful and heartless policy sometimes.

Hubby just called, I answered the phone "hey" and the first thing out of his mouth was... "you're going to become a card carrying republican now, aren't you?"

While I don't see that happening in my lifetime, it does, as I stated earlier, make it a lot easier to vote republican for the first time in my life.

How do you say "yes we can (fantasize about her)" in Spanish? Someone ask Obama.

I am not catty nor old, thank you very much.

And for the record I had decided to vote for McCain the second Obama won the nomination so I'm not voting for McCain just because he's got a woman on the ticket. But God bless him for doing so. ;)

I see this as a big win for the feminist movement. I can think of nothing better to demonstrate to young women that they can achieve anything, than to have a female VPOTUS, except maybe a woman POTUS... regardless of the reason he picked her, it's long overdue.

I've been kind of "Meh" about McCain, figuring I'd hold my nose and vote for him... but now, I'm almost enthusiastic
