I'd love to save Vrabes for when the Pats play the Titans at home.

Maybe yes. But I'm not fond of him terribly (though he was important) - the shameful Superbowl sell out still sits angrily in my memory.

Cheers

Should be Seymour, will probably be Vrabel.
Parcells wasn't here long enough and ran out of town at a key moment in the franchise.

Parcells? I guess - if you think his leaving in the dead of night for the NYJete after the SB then stealing coaches, stealing Curtis Martin all add up to being in the Patriots' HOF. Oh, wait...maybe he could get in on the basis of introducing RKK to Bill Belichick. That's the only thing I can see that would get him in from a Pats perspective. BTW, the Pats owe Parcells nothing.

Not my choice, was just asking about the choice. From some things I read, I wonder if Brady will make it one day.

I voted for Parcells. The excitement it brought surrounding the team, the day he was hired as head coach of the New England Patriots, was a great day. He brought instant credibility to the team. 'Bill F......G Parcells!? Are you f....g kidding me?'. And then he brought Belichick as defensive coach/assistant head coach-and the rest is history, on that note.

Vrabel was a fantastic fit with our Pats, from 2001-on. Always smart, giving his best, an all-time, solid Patriot. Seymour-a beast on the defensive line. An NFL all-star. Any team would be singing his praises.....Vrabel and Seymour will eventually get in the Patriots Hall of Fame, while they're alive and kicking. And I know-there's a great chance this will be the year for one of them.

Parcells got screwed by Kraft, from what I've read and heard, when Kraft didn't honor a contract for a lot of money, that Parcells made with the previous owner Victor Kiam. I'll add this, Parcells and Kraft are human; they have done some dumb things, along with a bunch of beautiful, great things. The fact Parcells didn't come back with the team, after they lost the Super Bowl, was a big black mark on his legacy, in my view, for a long time. I have a different perspective now-I'm not bitter about stuff like that anymore.

One reason I voted for Parcells is because I think he deserves it (not that Vrabel and Seymour don't-we've been blessed the last 20 years as a Patriot's fans). And a second reason is because Bill Parcells isn't long for this earth. I'd rather see him get in the Patriots Hall of Fame, while he, and his ex-players, can enjoy it. I don't care who anybody else votes for; you can't really go wrong.

Parcells doesn't deserve to be in the Pats HOF.

Of those 3 my vote would of course be Seymour, but I'd also be down with Vrabel. Parcells was long gone by the time I started following the team and I have no memories of him, fond or otherwise. I'm just a fan of putting in folks that strongly contributed to actually winning superbowls before putting in folks who strongly contributed to coming close. Just my humble opinion of course.
