Thats because he is allowed to be bent out of shape now....Not sure he was overreacting like a madman, he told them to report more responsibly. Go figure.

But Brady had checked out last season as many have stated. He wanted a change and got it and brought Gronk along for the ride to have some fun in the twilight of his career. That's fine and understandable but it will be like Jordan at the Wizards, he's sell out the games, up the interest in the team but no success compared to what was.
Well that was basketball, this is football, so it wont be like that. I am sure he is still going to try and win

Yeah he literally said one thing. My God someone stop him!!! Its amazing how you people buy everything the media says yet you didnt before Brady left. lol. This was a NY writer who made the claim BB wants to go to the giants, but yet he is spot on here. The hypocrisy on this board is flat out amazing. The funny thing is, who gives a crap, if he thought McDaniels shit was getting stale, God knows I did, but who would leak that? Tom? McDaniels? That writer has a history of taking things and blowing them into something they are not, or hell maybe BB wants to leave the pats and go coach the Giants.

It wasnt. I am sure it was the normal take a small piece of something and blow it up into a story. Stuff that us pats fans used to laugh at but now take as gospel since Brady left. I sure heard a lot of bitching about McDaniels playcalling the last couple of years, now that Brady left he is Bill Walsh.

Oh I thought we were talking about Brady's and McDaniels relationship, did you just want to start something by saying how shitty Brady is? There are plenty of other posts on here to piggy back that. I get it, Brady sucks, he cost us the season, etc etc, but I was talking about MCDaniels and Brady's relationship. So for future reference, Brady sucks, he destroyed our team, we dont need to keep harping on it. He is gone, everything will be kitty farts and rainbows. Ding dong the witch is dead.

Jordan had been out of the league for 3 years before he joined a dog shit Wizards team at 38 years old. That comparison doesn't make sense.

I know, right? What a relief.

I just wish everybody around here was able to make the transition to post-Brady as seamlessly as you have.

No one here hates Brady or thinks Brady is an asshole. Every Patriots fan loves Brady and the things he and BB accomplished over 20 years. The GOATs provided us with endless joy and pride.

Many, including me, think his play last year wasn't up to his usual standards.
We also witnessed behavior from Brady last year on the field that was uncharacteristic. Everyone here knew his time was coming to an end. Many, including me, agree with BB's decision to move on this year; both are better off - Brady now and the Pats in a year or 2.

(He might still be here if Antonio Brown hadn't gone batshit crazy but that's another story on its own.)

Some here wish Brady were still here. But some see and accept the reasons he's gone and those reasons are causing discomfort for a few.

Understandable, but that's the difference.

I direct you to a few posts. lol. So far I have read...fuck Brady. Brady is a diva, Brady screwed the team. etc I do not wish Brady was still here, at all, in any way. Brady had become the go to direct response for any bad. This is not abnormal actually. The best player on any team to fans is the guy they have not seen yet. So by all means it was time for him to go. I just find it odd that I read new things about what Brady was that never came up before after he is gone.

The reason Brady is gone, is because he chose to be gone, and thats fine, but enough about how its all been the same, because it hasnt been. I used to say be careful what you wish for to people wanting him gone, because while he has lost a step for sure, there were a ton of things he covered up for on this team that is gone now. Fans tend to think that any ol QB that comes in and the band continues on and well most of the time that is not the case.

With play calling it’s easy to ignore it when it’s going well and knock it when it’s bad.

That said though going back the days of watching marony get stuffed running out of shotgun up the middle what seemed like every single time they called it, I’ve never understood some things McDaniels calls. Its almost like their offensive successes came despite some of those plays. I know at times he’s calling stuff to set up the next play, but still. I know he’s done a ton of good. The stuff with Ahern and Gronk was something no one else was doing at the time. Still you need the personal and it was all there for him.

Last season I did not understand the run game plan. It was flat out bad, and did not get better. It was predictable inefficient, and ineffective. I know there were injuries to the line and devlin was a huge loss. Still watching Sony get stuffed over and over was very frustrating. It seemed like there was an unwillingness to adapt to the fact that it wasn’t working in November and December. Why wasn’t Harris given more of a shot? When burkhead was healthy he could create yards at times. Sony could do nothing of the sort. The pass game with the lack of weapons was what it was. They needed a strong run game to get them in third and favorable spots. It didn’t happen, and they couldn’t figure it out. That’s my biggest gripe with McDaniels last year.

If and when BB leaves/retires I hope he’s not the coach in waiting.

When people like myself say fuck Brady, we mean forget him, he's gone. He's with another team and will be working hard to get up to speed with his new team as JS will with ours. The point being, Brady sure as shit not thinking of the Patriots or the fans etc right now, not should he and we should be the same. We have a big season ahead of us with a new QB.

So forget him for now. He'll be back for the Pats HOF and then Canton and then he will be remembered for what he did with the Patriots. But for now, he chose to leave so just leave it and let's move on.

The issue is, you seem to be unwilling to even discuss that Brady seriously regressed last season. Now maybe he will be rejuvenated with the Bucs and his poor play last season was because he was fed up and wanted out, but it doesn't mean he wasn't poor.

Sure, kindly direct me to this post.

What I remember seeing are posts saying Brady was part of the problem last year, and you translating that to the poster saying
Brady sucks, brady sucks brady sucks. or
You think Brady had nothing to do with our superbowls. lol
You think that Brady leaving will solve all our problems
etc

The posts weren't hateful. The authors never posted the things you said they did.

Even the Fuck Brady posts weren't Fuck Brady Brady he was never any good.

It was Fuck Brady. He's gone. Move on.

I think if you read the posts you call hateful carefully, you'll find that the vast majority of the posts aren't hateful, they are simply saying that Brady's has been going downhill, which many of us noticed and commented on toward the end of last season, and that BB made the right decision.

edit: I didn't quote your entire post, but the part where you said "Brady has become the go to diect response for any[thing] bad," is exactly what I am talking about.
