Since it's animated it doesn't get a lot of love, but F is For Family is criminally underrated. Great show. Looking forward to season 4. The main character is voiced by Bill Burr and is one of the writers of the show.

I started Space Force yesterday. I got through the first episode but just wasn't feeling it. I'll try to pick it up again and see if it gets better.

After looking forward to it, I just couldn't get into it in spite of great cast. Didn't make it through episode 1.

What was the last show you binged, and was it worth the time?

Iím with you and Space. It just isnít that good.

I did laugh out loud when he walked through the Space Force building and there was a model of the solar system with Earth in the center.

2. Wild, Wild Country (Netflix)-- Picture a guru who wins thousands of converts and fleeces them, gets booted out of India, basically buys a small town in the Northwest, acquires a fleet of Rolls Royces and a harem of sex slaves and then......things get weird.

3. Tell me who I am (Netflix) -- A young man suffers brain damage in an accident and his memory is almost totally wiped clean. His identical twin brother helps fill in the blanks but the tale that eventually emerges is twisted beyond belief.

4. Three Identical Strangers (Hulu) -- Identical triplets who were separated at birth eventually find each other, become national celebrities, dress alike and try to unravel what happened to them......annnnnnd it's very dark.
A brilliant documentary, which your brother recently posted about, is Never Surrender: The Galaxy Quest Documentary. It's on Amazon Prime.

Another one I found on Amazon is The Formula One Drivers aka The Quick and the Dead.

It's a 1973 documentary about F1. If you're into motor sports, there is one fabulous scene where Jackie Stewart is driving a sedan around to old NŁrburgring (14 miles long). As he drives, he describes how he takes each corner, bump, etc. Great stuff.

Another good F1 documentary is 1.

It describes the changes in safety in F1 that reduced the 20% death or serious injury each year to what exists today.

Quote of the film. Jackie Stewart talking bout racing in the late 60's and early 70's.

"Back when racing was dangerous and sex was safe."

But probably the finest racing documentary is The 24 Hour War, presently free on Netflix (I think).

This is the full back story of the Ford v Ferrari fight at Le Mans.

Yeah my wife and I watched the first episode, we also remarked on how star studded the cast was, and neither of us laughed once. It just wasn't particularly good. We'll likely try another episode or two but so far we're unimpressed.

My wife and I are nearly all the way through "community", which is absolutely excellent.

I also most recently binged "parasite" the anime, for those who are fans of that genre, it was very interesting and well done, and I'd highly recommend it. Fair warning it gets dark and violent as anime is wont to do

Never really got into it.

Saw a few episodes of Top Gear back in the day, but it didn't really draw me in.

There were a couple of episodes with Jimmy Stewart. Listening to him talk about the old days was outstanding .

Series Plug:

I'd like to plug Letterkenny(Hulu) as possibly the most enjoyable series I've seen since the lockdown began.

I'd never heard of it and tried it on a whim out of curiosity. Within 10 minutes I knew it was something special. and it helped me forget all the shit going down and escape to a small farming community in Canada where the beer is always cold, the females are always hot and the entirely non-PC interactions between the various quirky groups of locals are hilarious.

I've never seen anything like it. Often crude, but with a lot of heart and intelligence underlying all of it.

Movie Plug:

The Vast of Night (Amazon prime)

A great little Indy Sci-Fi film set in a tiny New Mexico town in the 1950s.

I thought this was one of the most surprising flicks I've seen in a while and it delivered more sustained suspense and steadily-growing tension throughout than a lot of films from that genre that cost a hundred times more to make.

The use of primitive (to us) "tech" by the main characters was really interesting. I loved this movie.

Just wrapped up The Five from Coben again. Another impressive mystery suspense in England with good twists.
