This is a happy story for Pats fans. Had O'Chea been a bit more patient with Miami's young WRs who weren't used to such a complicated system, Dolphins might have been a lot better.

Call me the eternal optimist, but this plus Josh Allen and SOJ and the division title is looking better and better.

I won't mention Stidham, but................

The 2021 TE class may be better than the 2019 class. It's led by this guy.

1) Pat Freiermuth, Penn State

Pat Freiermuth was dubbed “Baby Gronk” after his dominant season at Penn State last year. Freiermuth was technically eligible to declare for the 2020 NFL Draft as a redshirt sophomore and would have been the obvious TE1. However, he chose to return to school for the 2020 season and will look to improve on his strong end to the 2019 year.
Freiermuth is your prototypical, in-line tight end. He is a dominant blocker, has strong hands, and is devastating to try and tackle. He’s not an elite athlete but has more than enough speed to break the big play. Freiermuth comes in as my top-rated tight end because of his versatility. His dominant blocking lets him play both on the line of scrimmage and in the backfield. Meanwhile, his athletic ability and receiving skills make him a weapon lined up as a big slot or even out wide.

So what you do Darnold is just throw it up for grabs, and we will teach the receivers to look like they were punched in the fact, gets a flag about 50 percent of the time vs the patriots because they are good in coverage. We are doomed.

The onside kick alternative (4th and 15 from the 25) did not pass. That's a good thing imo. It was a crazy idea.

Approved rules include making permanent the use of automatic replay reviews, expanded defenseless player protections for returners and preventing the manipulation of the game clock by committing dead-ball fouls while the clock is running.

Approved 2020 Bylaws Summary

  1. By League Office; increases the number of players that may be designated for return from two to three. Incorporates interpretations applicable to bye weeks during the regular season and postseason.

Just saw some highlights and he looks like a stud. I definitely understand why he's dubbed "Baby Gronk"

The 2021 salary cap is expected to go down bc of Covid. Some think it will be significant with a 40% loss in local revenues resulting in a $31M drop in cap.

I heard they (NFL and NFLPA) might agree to spread the loss out over several seasons to avoid a bloodbath of higher-priced vets as teams try to deal with that big of a cap drop all in one year.

Allowed or not, some of the smaller market teams won't have their usual amount of cash available to spend. All teams will feel the pinch. Will Kraft want to come up with that amount of cash out of pocket to be able to sign players? Will any owner?
